The purpose of this raffle is to gather money to help our friend Iraly (@IraBric25) be able to get a passport since she lives in Venezuela, as we all know the situation in her country is very complicated. We are helping her get out of her country so that she is able to follow her goal of studying her dream major.

This year has been a difficult one. My family and I were subjected to a terrible landlord that let our home fall into disrepair, my mom has been fighting lung disease and congestive heart failure, our rescue cat was diagnosed with FIV and my lupus branched into aplastic anemia. To say our sanity and perseverance has been tested is an understatement. It often feels like the world is crashing down around us with no end in sight. Taylor has been a source of light in the darkness. She’s always here for me. Listening to her words, seeing her face or even looking at Olivia, Meredith and Benjamin always fills me with joy. Taylor has the power to bring a smile to my face when I feel like I’ll never smile again. She truly has a smile that could light up this whole town. The whole world.

In April, our cat Pumpkin, who we rescued from the streets, pregnant, began searching for places to hide in order to give birth. We placed a box and blankets under the bed for her, but she didn’t want it. She was restless for days. She made her way into my closet and started batting around with my clothes and trying to get comfortable on my shoes. I put the box in the closet for her, but at this point she had found a better place: my gray reputation tour shirt. She had pulled it to the floor from the hanger and by the time I realized she was on it, a kitten had already arrived! By the next morning, five more had arrived. All on Taylor’s face.

Over the few months since their birth, the kittens have brought so much joy to our home. They make us laugh, they light up the room with their big personalities and are always in the mood for cuddles. Taylor has always brought me so much happiness, and of all the places Pumpkin could give birth, she chose my Taylor shirt. It’s like that joy and that light I get from Taylor was transferred to all of them. Maybe it’s fate. Maybe it’s just a really amazing coincidence. I don’t know. I do know that Taylor and the kittens have been the highlight of my dark days and they’re connected to each other in a way.

I hope Taylor gets to see this one day or that I get the chance to tell her in person how much she means to me and six very special kittens.

3 years ago today was incredible. Getting invited to a secret session, going to Nashville, getting to actually go to Mama Swift’s house + listen to Lover early WITH Taylor + then meet her after!! I’m still not over it and I don’t think I ever will be ✨

How Taylor’s music made me stronger?

Hi! I’m Stéphanie from Belgium and it’s my first selfie night (well morning here, sorry). I’ve been diagnotised with breast cancer a few days before « reputation » came out, back in October 2017. It’s genetic. My mom died from it in 2002 and my oldest sister in 2014, when I was pregnant.

Being told you have a cancer and losing a physical part of you change your perspective of life and your priorities. A lot of questions... and fears... « how will my son live without me? » first. And then « how am I supposed to fight that sh*t? ».

I’ve always been anxious to lose my family... and I became aware I could leave them sooner than expected.

I remember being at the hospital and listening exclusively to reputation. I was doing my best to learn the lyrics of « Call it what you want » and I was listening A LOT to « ... ready for it » because that song was giving me what I needed to feel strong and to fight the cancer. Yep, miss @taylorswift and her songs made me believe I could fight this. And I did! And still today, when I listen to that album, it doesn’t bring back bad memories to me but it emphasizes the feeling of power I got in 2017 and it gets bigger and bigger everytime I listen to it.

I wish I could thank Taylor in person one day because her music REALLY helped me going through the hardest time of my life. ♥️

She gave people a voice. She helped me understand the real importance of speaking up.
