So
about that Miraculous rewrite, what do you have in mind?
Okay, thank you for asking, I appreciate it. I’ll try and make this as concise as possible, because there’s a lot and I tend to ramble, so I’ve made it in the form of a numbered list:
1. I don’t plan on redeeming ChloĂ©. I feel like despite actually knowing why ChloĂ© didn’t get redeemed, there’s a pretty decent lesson about how entitlement doesn’t mean you get what you want that they definitely also could’ve gone with of if they were a bit smarter with it.
2. No zodiac kwami. They’re the bane of my existence. Why are two of them time travel based in power?
3. Adrienette is the endgame couple.
4. As of right now I’m sitting at three seasons, each one being 16 episodes plus three specials but I might either add a season four or make season three longer. One of the specials is the alternate dimension one. I love the concept of it.
5. I also gave the show an actual timeline. Because the Christmas specials says it’s Adrien’s first Christmas without his mother, but then season one has the Valentine’s Day episode which means it’s February and then the school year in France starts in September so if we look at season one as somewhat chronological, it means the Christmas special is wrong and that drove me crazy so I just redid the whole timeline. Because it would be his second Christmas without his mom.
6. Nathalie doesn’t have an unrequited crush on Gabriel. I never quite got that.
7. Any rich kid that was a sentimonster isn’t one anymore. The peacock miraculous doesn’t create sentimonsters but rather charms enemies as its main skill.
8. Adrien has more of a backbone than he does is canon and Marinette’s crush on. Adrian is a bit more healthy.
9. Rather than using potions to unlock new skills, the kwamis can manifest them themselves. They just need to expend extra energy and there are just some situations where that’s more difficult. I just feel like the book and the potions and the rennlings from the Shanghai special make the kwamis feel less like something ancient powerful and more like a tool. And also because Frozer takes place in January/February and Syren takes place in March/April (both are season two episodes though).
10. Up until the collector, Natalie didn’t know that Gabriel was Hawkmoth and agrees to wear the butterfly miraculous in order to get Gabriel to let Adrien go back to school and not be able to pull them out for a stupid reason anymore otherwise she’ll just go to the cops and be like “my boss is the supervillain.” She does this again in Simon Says but with Adrien’s love life as a preemptive caution.
11. Adrien is in the finale battle. I don’t get why they didn’t include him in season 5.
12. Emilie Agreste is a famous actress so her disappearance (aka I haven’t quite settled on what I want to do with her) is a lot more well-known to the public.
13. I am planning on renaming both of Felix‘s parents. I just haven’t quite settled on names yet.ïżŒ
I think that’s all I got right now. I’ve mainly been focussing on the timeline and the episode list and any changes to episodes rather than the characters themselves which feels counterproductive, but it’s just the way that my brain works, especially since I find it really difficult to think out Marinette and Adrien as individuals. My brain kinda just weaves them together.

Gotham Runaway Chapter 10
Ok I’m back for now ‘-_- I’ll probably be able to upload more, cuz of the Corona virus and staying home and everything. Sorry the chapters kinda short. Stay healthy out there! đŸ˜·
Chapter 10
A few days later, the Miraculous team are on the rooftops once again. They were told to wait on the rooftop of Wayne Tower.
“Guys, I’m gonna be honest. I’m... a little nervous..” Ladybug admits. Even if they ignored their call for help, these are still professional superheroes, it’s justifiable to be nervous around them.
“Don’t worry, Ladybug. We’ll be with you the whole time. Right Viperion?” She asks as she holds both their hands, giving her a reassuring look.
Luka gives her shoulder a squeeze. “Everything will be fine. Relax.”
Plagg floats up to her. “Yea, don’t worry, bug. Everything will be fiiiine. You worry too much.”
“O..kay.”
Suddenly they’re met with the Batfam. Batman speaks up, “Ladybug. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He shakes her hand firmly. She gives a nod. “Likewise. These are my teammates Ryuuko and Viperion.” She gestured toward them. They simply give a nod to them.
“We’re ready, Cyborg.” Next thing they knew, they were suddenly beamed into the Justice League Headquarters, And met with its members.
Wonder Woman was the first to speak up.
“Ladybug! It’s an honor to meet you.”
“And you as well. These are my teammates, “ she gestured to her teammates. “Viperion and Ryuuko.”
Wonder Woman steps up. “I apologize for my team for ignoring your plea. I was unaware there was an active Ladybug and Black Cat in Paris. I swear to you I would’ve come to your aid had I known.” She flashes a glare at Green Lantern.
Plagg takes this opportunity to appear in front of Wonder Woman. “Well, it looks like your team isn’t very competent.” Plag says dryly.
“Plagg, I didn’t know you would be here, without a holder, nonetheless.” She says in suprise.
“Yea well, my holder was an incompetent brat..” he grumbles, as he lands on Ladybugs shoulder.
“Plagg calm down, it’s okay.” She turns back to Wonder Woman.
“Wonder Woman, while I do admit i was mad that we were ignored for so long, it worked out in our favor. I imagine that my team and I could not handle it if anyone on the justice league was akumatized.” She can’t imagine how they would be able to take down an akumatized Wonder Woman, Kwami forbid an akumatized Superman.
She and her teammates wince at the thought of how much damage they could’ve caused and how long the fight would be.
Superman clears his throat, gaining everyone’s attention. “Well, now that that’s settled, we were hoping to discuss another topic.” He gestured to the chairs, and everyone takes a seat. “Batman, the floor is yours.” Everyone turns to Batman, who has the everlasting scowl on his face.
“Alright, well as you are aware, Gotham is protected by myself and my team. We want to know your plans while you are in Gotham.” He turns to Ladybug and her team
Ladybug takes a moment to glance at her teammates. “Well, Batman. I am planning to stay permanently in Gotham. My teammates here are no longer active heroes, they are simply visiting.”
Ryuuko speaks up, “Ladybug gave us our miraculous temporarily. She will take them back before we return home.” Viperion nods in confirmation.
“As for my intentions, I plan on focusing on my civilian life, but if there’s trouble and I’m in the area, I’ll help if I can. However, I’m not going to drop everything I’m doing unless it’s an emergency. I’ll still be on the rooftops at night when I can though.”
Batman looks pleased by that answer, but who can really tell when the man shows no emotion. Robin looks mildly annoyed as always, and Red Robin, Red Hood, and Nightwing are excited about having a new hero to patrol with.
They continue to talk for about another 20 minutes about other League business and the meeting concludes.
They are now back on a rooftop in Gotham. Ladybug hugs her teammates and turns to leave. “Well, I guess it’s time to head out, see y-“
“Ladybug wait!” Nightwing cuts her off. The other Robins don’t really know what he’s up to.
“..yes?”
“We... um. Figured out your identities.”
“...what.”

A Presentation to the Matchmaker Pt: 5 Confession
Well, here it is - the final part of A Presentation to the Matchmaker. It’s been a whole bunch of fun to write and marks the first finished multi-chapter story I’ve ever written. So I’m pretty Happy. Congratulations to those that correctly guessed who Marinette was going to confess too. I hope that even though I went full sappy for the ending, that you guys enjoy it.
Pt. 5: Confession
Monday
“You could send her dozens of flowers – she loves flowers. Has her own rooftop garden,” Alya suggested as she munched her way through a bag of chips.
“If she has a garden,” Felix began as he rolled an apple thoughtfully between his hands, “Then wouldn’t it be a better idea to give her a couple of potted plants?”
Alya gave him a flat look, “Are you seriously suggesting giving Marinette, the most accident-prone girl we know pottery?”
“Hmm.” Felix chewed thoughtfully, “What about seeds?”
“Too grandmotherly,” Alya sighed.
Tuesday
Alya crossed her arms over her chest, “Music? Are you serious?”
Felix patted down a couple of wild flyaway strands of hair and nodded earnestly, “Music is a way into a heart. You should know – your boyfriend is a DJ, right?”
“Yeah, but he didn’t ask me out through song. We were locked in a cage together by Ladybug and just
sorta hashed it out,” Alya pointed out.
Felix raised an eyebrow at her, “Are you suggesting I ask Ladybug to lock Marinette and I in a cage together to ‘hash it out’?”
Alya smiled in spite of herself, “Nah, too hard to track down a hero
I could lock you two in a closet together accidentally, if you know what I mean.”
The expression of open horror Felix gave her made her double over in laughter. After a minute, Alya straightened and wiped her eyes, “Haa, I’m sorry. I was joking!” She clapped her hand on his shoulder to prevent him from walking away. “Sorry,” she apologized again, “I mean it.”
Felix shook off her hand but made no move to leave, “Do you really think the music idea wouldn’t work?”
“No, no, it could work,” Alya said, “But music is tricky – it has to be from the heart or else it won’t be able to travel to another person’s got it?”
Felix nodded along as she spoke.
“I have no idea what that means,” he deadpanned.
Nino could have explained the concept better, she thought a little wistfully.
“You know what? It’s not important,” Alya hand-waved, “If you’re confident in this plan, then go for it.”
Friday
“Hey,” Alya greeted Felix at lunch as she passed by to go sit with Marinette, “Can’t stay and chat for long but, are you still feeling good about the plan?”
Felix picked at his scant lunch for a moment, “As ready as I think I can be. Is it still going to be in the music classroom?”
Alya nodded, “Yup. She doesn’t have a clue. Once the bell rings, I’ll make up some excuse and Marinette and I will walk there. You’ll be sitting quietly at the piano. I say I’ll be lookout. And then it’s confession time.”
“Got it.” Felix gave Alya a queasy smile and half-heartedly picked up a carrot stick, “Go sit with your group.”
~~
Felix drummed his fingers on his desk and glanced at the clock for the umpteenth time.
To him, it felt like the seconds were actively resisting the march of time and, judging by the restless fidgeting of his classmates – he wasn’t the only one.
He brought a hand down to check that the paper in his pocket – the paper that contained the contents of his heart – was still safely where it was supposed to be. He peeked back at the clock and held back a groan, hardly two minutes had passed. Felix resumed drumming on his desk and tried not to stare a hole through the back of Marinette’s head. But Marinette must have felt the weight of his stare because she turned around and smiled at him.
He smiled back, pretending like she hadn’t been the focus of his attention, and tried to exude a nonchalant-ness that he didn’t feel. Encouraged by his smile, Marinette rolled her eyes towards the clock and back to him with a look that said the final bell is taking forever. In response to her eye-rolling, Felix quirked a brow in agreement, puffed out his cheeks and blew out a long breath. Felix couldn’t help the real smile that overtook his strained one at the sight of her eyes crinkling in amusement.
He was beginning to feel confident about the plan when the final bell rang, prompting two dozen people to spring to their feet in a race to leave school for the day.
Leaving just four people lingering in the classroom.
Felix sat frozen at his desk as he watched Adrien help Marinette gather her spilled bookbag, ignoring Alya’s frantic shooing gestures. Was this the moment? Felix thought, stomach squelching in panic. Was he going to witness Marinette confess to Adrien right in front of him?
Marinette’s face flushed as she grabbed a folder from Adrien’s hands, opening her mouth.
“You ready to go?” Alya asked Marinette loudly, startling Marinette enough to make her forget what she was about to say.
“Oh!” She jumped, clutching the folder to her chest. “Umm, no?” Marinette answered once she took a breath.
“I, uhh, have to talk to Felix about something.” She gestured loosely with her folder. “Uh
band stuff.” She added on. “You two go ahead – I’ll catch up later.” Marinette gave Alya a significant look that Felix didn’t understand – surely talking about band stuff wouldn’t take long.
But if the widening of Alya’s eyes was anything to go by, she understood exactly what Marinette wanted.
“Oh, uh, ok, right,” Alya stammered, giving Felix a brief wide-eyed look before snapping back into character, “Adrien! Want to see some exclusive new features I’ve just added to the Ladyblog?”
Adrien’s delighted expression was pure sunshine. “Sure!” He said enthusiastically, waving a cheery goodbye to Marinette and Felix.
Suddenly, four became two.
Felix racked his brains on how to maneuver them to the music room and tried to not hyperventilate. None of this was part of the plan! The music sheet was burning a hole in his pocket. How was he supposed to confess without a piano? He thought as he walked down the aisle steps, coming to a stop in front of Marinette. The answer came a beat later. A poem! He thought. All he had to do was read his song as a poem. That would work right?
“Marinette –”
“Felix –”
They said simultaneously and tried again.
“Sorry –”
“Sorry –”
They stopped once again.
Marinette’s giggle did nothing to placate the butterflies that had hatched in his stomach. Marinette motioned at him, “You go first.”
“Right, ok.” Felix stuttered. Swallowing hard, Felix carefully unfolded the music had he had agonized over writing for days and cleared his throat.
“Marinette.” He began before breaking off, concentration scattered by the sight of her curious expression.
“Marinette, I –”
This isn’t working, he realized as he tried to ignore the melody he had written and find his place, a song won’t cut it. Felix crumpled the sheet into a tight ball.
“Marinette,” Felix solidified his resolve and began for the third time. “I wanted to write you the perfect song – one that would make you feel soft and warm and loved, but,” He let the crumpled paper fall to the floor, “I failed. I can’t even read it to you.”
He reached to hold one of Marinette’s hands but his hand fell back to his side when he realized neither were free. “I’m not even sure that there’s a song in existence that could perfectly encapsulate how I feel about you. And –,” He cleared his throat, more nervous habit than need, “And I’m sure that I’m messing this up too because I’m sure I’m not appropriately conveying, in words, what you mean to me. But I like you. A whole lot.”
“And I hope, I hope what I’m saying is enough. That I’m enough.” he inhaled through his nose sharply and stared at the ceiling, unable to look her in the eyes at the moment. In a fit of bravery, Felix brought his eyes down to meet Marinette’s, “So, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, will you please go on a date with me?”
A long silence stretched out between the two of them. He braced himself for rejection – ready to take whatever she said head-on. But instead of rejecting him, Marinette pressed her folder into his hands. Unsure what to expect, Felix gingerly opened it. Felix’s lips trembled before breaking into a wide smile because, inside, sitting on top of a couple of sheets of facts and figures was a simple, unlabeled Venn Diagram that read:

“Man, the lack of sleep is really getting to me isn’t it? But seriously, how do you like it so far? Make any friends?" or  “I swear, on some nights, you’re swaying and dancing and spinning and you feel like you’ll be doing that forever. It's purgatory." For the quote to make a story? If you dont want to that's fine as well ^-^
"Man, the lack of sleep is really getting to me isn’t it?” Marinette said, holding out the plaid jacket’s left sleeve. “But seriously, how do you like it so far?” She paused before looking over. Her eye flashed with mirth. “Make any friends?” Felix looked up from the chaise he had fallen on to drily.“You don’t sleep Marinette.”“So that’s no for the friends. You’re an up and coming fashion designer FĂ©. You need to make some connections. And the whole Agreste thing is the perfect opportunity.” Right. The Agreste thing. The whole reason Felix Le Dimant was in this situation.
Felix didn’t like Gabriel Agreste. That much was apparent after a week of interning at Gabriel fashion. He wanted to leave almost immediately, but Audrey, his mentor, refused to let him quit so soon, so he suffered creating bland fashion and watching models suffer from not being thin enough. It disgusted him. So six months ago, he knew he needed to stop Gabriel’s working conditions. He just needed a little help, that’s all. His help just so happened to be of the demonic origin.
Truth be told, he forgot Marinette was a demon at time. With her love of pink, chipper can-do-attitude, and love for mortal things, anyone would assume that she was an upbeat designer. “Your job is done now. Gabriel fashions is over. Why are you still here?” Marinette stepped away from the jacket, and leaned over him. For a split second he could see the illusion fall. Her red irises glowed. The room became cold. But it was gone almost immediately.“Your wish was that you could take Gabriel down. I’m not leaving until he’s crushed under the weight of your brand.” Felix stared back blankly. “That and I like you.” She added, giving him a quick kiss. “Now I’ll go RSVP for tonight’s gala. It’ll be a little last minute, but it’ll have to do.”
“Do I have to make more connections? I have Audrey.” He grumbled“You need more connections than someone that temperamental, grumpy chat.” She replied. “What if Audrey goes under?”“Not likely.” He replied standing up. He rested his head against her shoulder. He did a once over of the monochrome sweater. “Mmm... I would change it to red. It’ll be great for the holiday rush.” He watched as the white squares turned a bright shade of red. “Lovely.” He murmured against her neck.“Flattery won’t get you out of tonight’s gala.” She replied, chuckling as he groaned in irritation.
“I’ll make you a deal Fe. If you can get two designers to give you their cards, we can leave early.”“You promise?” He watched as an aged scroll floated in front of him.“As long as you sign it.”“What’s the catch?”“I can give you as many kisses as I please tonight.” Felix smiled and picked up the pen.“That, my dear, is something I can agree too.”

Soo what's your problem whit epic winter?
Here are my problems in a numbered list. Note that they’re all super nit-picky.
1. Designs:
So when you look at the Snow King and Snow Queen, they both have blonde hair blue eyes, so they look like Elsa. In contrast, their daughter Crystal has pale purple skin and pale blue hair. The major problem isn’t that Crystal doesn’t look like her parents, which does bother me, it’s that they don’t look very wintery. Jackie, Northwind, and the nameless staff look more like a snow king/queen then our leading lady. I think a way they could’ve fixed this is if one parent and Crystal look more like Jackie and Northwind, and therefore, more like winter spirits.
2. Crystal’s shoes:
Probably the most nit-picky of them all, why does Crystal wear lace-up shoes when she can’t tie her laces? Like I get it, it’s a change in her personality, but it’s just very stupid. They have phones. Look up how to tie your shoelaces.
3. The kindness blindness spell:
The spell isn’t the problem. It’s straight out of the original Snow Queen story, which  I appreciate. I just don’t understand why the spell creator, ie. The Evil Queen didn’t steal one of the four seasonal roses and hide it in her castle. Imagine the girls getting to one of the castles only to find out that the rose has been stolen away and hidden. The scroll won’t update itself and tell them that the rose is at the Evil Queen’s castle, and it gives an excuse to have Raven be more than a background character.
4. Lack of Interest in most of our main cast:
For me, Raven and Apple are the series’ core characters. The conflict, until Dragon Games, is if Raven will follow in her mother’s footsteps or not. So come to the Epic Winter gang, and outside of Daring and Rosabella, and I don’t really feel invested if they’re going to save the day or not which isn’t great for your series.
5. So the kiss:
In Dragon Games, we saw Darling wake up Apple meaning Darling is the prince. Come Epic Winter and it’s never really talked about, outside of learning that Apple knows Daring didn’t wake her up after he turns into a beast, but like that’s not really enough. Again, I didn’t really care about our main cast outside of Daring and Rosabella in Epic Winter, and I feel like I would’ve enjoyed it more if Apple and Darling were in it instead and we got to see them work with this new dynamic. Alas, it is not to be.
Edit: also imagine beast Daring watching his sister flirt with his not ex-girlfriend, while starting a bit of a romance with his sister’s roommate.
Things I enjoyed:
Yes, Epic Winter was a dud for me, but there are some things I enjoyed:
The fairy mafia
Faybelle and her cheerleading spells
THAT DARING CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT THOUGH
The Daring/Rosabella dream sequence kiss
The new opening.
I think that’s it. Yeah, that’s it.

anything interesting I ng in the Haun t ed mansion au you wrote that surprised you?
So if I’m reading this right, then something that surprised me about my Haunted Mansion AU (under the beta name Mysterium) is how bad my writing is between weeks. Like I’ve been writing it by hopping from chapter to chapter depending on what I feel like writing but comparing chapter one, and like chapter nine, I’m like “wow. Wow, this is bad.”
I will need to rewrite that chapter for sure.

You mentioned Plagg having a cult....
Yeah. During the early days of the Titans, Plagg wasn’t the most popular member of them and in an attempt to become well liked began talking to people, disguised of course, to convince them destruction isn’t always bad. Unfortunately one of them turned out to be a bit loony and became super devoted and a couple years later, boom! The Cult of Plagg. It lasted months as they wouldn’t stay in one place for very long. But eventually a few Titans were able to destablize them and they went underground. Legend says their still out there, bringing more members into their ranks so they can rise to their original glory.

Hi, this is my first time asking something so I'm not sure if I'm doing this right but it's worth a shot. I noticed the list of dark fairy tale prompts and was wondering if you'd consider doing this one: Adrien bravely vows to save Marinette from the dragon (which turns out to be Felix) guarding the outside of her tower, not realizing Marinette is what the dragon is trying to protect everyone from. I was thinking this could be a Felinette fic with maybe just a little salt?
Update: I made it better. At least I think it’s better now.________
Adrien was aghast when he learned that his childhood friend Marinette had been stolen by a dragon. Even more when he learned it had happened several years ago. Many people had mentioned seeing a black flying serpent fly towards the beach, where an abandoned castle resided. There was no doubt in his mind that foul beast took her there. Despite his father’s protests, he donned his best armour, mounted the fastest horse he had and rushed to save her. Only problem was that he didn’t know Marinette was perfectly content where she was.
________
“You’re being dramatic Felix.” Marinette said, kicking water at him. “It’s just a little water.”“I’m a fire dragon.” He retorted, the long black wings fluttering in irritation. Marinette rolled her eyes and dipped her hand in the cool water, flicking the droplets at Felix’s wings. He jolted before glaring at her. She laughed, only to yelp as Felix used his tail to flick water at her. She grinned back at him before splashing him once more. Only a few more hours and Felix would be partially human again. Felix never wanted this to end. But unfortunately things don’t always work out that way.“I have come for Marinette foul scum.” Marinette turned. Was that Adrien? “Return her at once!” It was. Felix leaned over to Adrien’s height and blew smoke in his face.“Adrien!” She yelled. “What are you doing?” Her childhood friend looked down.“Saving you from a dragon?”“I’m happy that you care about my wellbeing, I don’t need to be saved.”“But didn’t he steal you away?”“I asked him to. Well my parents did. The villagers were being awful to me and I couldn’t deal with it any longer.” Marinette smiled softly and scratched the dragon’s scales.
“I understand that it’s confusing at first, but I’m happy, safe, and well cared for.”“So you’re just going to avoid everyone? Lila wasn’t hurting anyone.” Felix growled.“Her lies were hurting Marinette. She lied to her friends and slandered Marinette at the same time. To say Lila’s lies weren’t hurting anyone is to say Marinette isn’t person.”“Calm yourself.” Marinette said softly. “I understand why you didn’t say anything about Lila lying to you, but she was hurting me. I’m happy here, so you don’t need to save me.” Adrien sighed and moved down to Marinette, pulling her into a hug.“I’ll make things right Marinette.” He called his horse down and hopped on to it. “So you can return home.”“I don’t know if I will, but thank you for understanding my choice.” What Adrien didn’t see however, was the water churning around the dragon, its body shifting into a partial human form. She felt his arms wrap around her waist.“Now that he’s gone, would you like to make a sand castle?” Marinette smiled and turned around, giving him a kiss.“Of course! We need to make the most of your human form after all.” Marinette tapped his wings. “Well as human as you are right now.” Marinette hummed softly as the two returned to the shoreline. There was one thing she did forget to tell Adrien. Lila wasn’t completely lying when she called her a witch.

If you did write a trial/punishment for alya, would it be able to make her see her errors, or is she still gonna have that "she's always right/her word is truth" bullshit afterwards? Cause you did mention that she would try to talk to Marinette all the time, Causing her to get lost. Other than that, LOVE the sequel!
Alya doesn’t change her thought process that easily, so it’ll take some time. She does know that Lila is in fact lying and does believe Marinette is the harvest goddess so it’s more her actions after that revelations that come into play.
Joining several deities in saying that Lila doesn’t need to prove herself AND blaming Marinette as Minthe for stealing Lila’s powers. Her flimsy punishment.Refusing to leave Marinette alone to process things.Calling her request to be left alone by most of the deities petty.
Marinette got tired of being moved around and learning that Alya was calling her petty resulting in her asking Luka to tell Nooroo (who is best boy) about it who in turn brought up punishing Alya. No better way to make a goddess humble then to make her mortal three weeks into Marinette’s sorrow induced winter.
So eventually. Just not yet.

đŸ‘„ Muse A-Marinette, Muse B-Felix
Marinette looked over the ballroom, leaning against the wall. Despite her distain for Lady Lila, she threw excellent balls. Each theme was creative and abstract. Love the first day, beauty the next, and for today, magic. She saw many guests dressed as faeries, floral patterns on each mask. ChloĂ© in particular wore a dress that was hard to ignore. Marinette was thankful for her choice, a witch wasn’t very popular choice amongst the high standing society. She was dressed in black, with lace opera gloves and mask. A large witch hat sat upon her head. Unfortunately, her choice left her dance card empty. As she looked at the dancers twirl along the floor, until she noticed a man across the room. Unlike the other she couldn’t figure out what he was dressed as. She tilted her head and squinted, but she still couldn’t figure it out. She planned on waiting until the current dance was over, but she she couldn’t find the patience for it.
How odd.
She was always patient.
Marinette sighed before walking around the dance floor, intending to get a closer look at the man without making it obvious. She could only see his profile, but he was beautiful. Unnaturally beautiful. She walked forward without realizing it, and soon she was tapping his shoulder. “Excuse me monsieur,” the man looked over at her. “What are you dressed as?”“Myself mademoiselle.” He gave her a smile. “And you’re dressed as a witch?” She nodded. “How charming.” He kissed her knuckles and looked up at her. “I do believe you’ve cast a spell on me mademoiselle. May I request a dance?” Her cheeks flushed.“You may. When this dance is over.” She didn’t remember when the current dance ended and the next one started, only being pulled on to the dance floor by the mysterious man. As the two twirled, Marinette looked at him once more. “So what makes you magical monsieur? As you’re  dressed as yourself.”“I’ll tell you when the dance is over.”“Must I wait?”“Unfortunately so. But I’ll be sure to make it worth the wait.”
Throughout the whole night she danced with the man, becoming more and more interesting in the strange male. Soon the night was coming to a close. She was currently on the balcony with the enigmatic masked man. Midnight struck, and she untied her mask. She could hear the gasps and laughter from inside, learning everyone’s identities. Marinette looked over at male, only to notice he was gone, a necklace in its place. She picked up the jewelry, taking in a sharp intake of breath upon recognizing it. That was the calling card of Felix, the heart eater. Any girl seen with it would fall hopelessly in love with him before he consumed their hearts. Next to where the necklace was, was a note.
“Don’t worry your pretty head mademoiselle. I don’t intend on eating your heart just yet. – Felix.”
Marinette looked over at the sky and gripped the necklace, holding it close to her heart. No matter how much she wanted to, she refused to fall with the warlock Felix. Even if seemed impossible.

🩌 for the fairytale prompt? Felinette with Mari as the animal, preferably!
I hope you like it.
Felix didn’t consider himself as someone who would blindly follow something into the forests, but the deer wouldn’t stop moving. He could certainly one up some of his competitors if he got a picture of an albino deer for his next issue. What annoyed him more was that the deer obviously knew he needed the picture. Stopping and looking over, almost irritably, waiting for him to follow. And he did. But as he followed it, constantly attempting to snap pictures, he noticed how human it’s eyes were and it became more impatient as time went on. Sure he had heard stories about people who could turn into animals but that was a child’s tale. But the more he followed the deer, the harder it became to believe that.
Eventually the deer stopped. He was most definitely lost in the forest. The clearing was surrounded by trees. The deer had stopped however. It even allowed him to take pictures. This however confirmed that this deer was in fact a human being. It posed for each photo. Regardless, he would get his pay, so what did it matter. He thanked the deer and turned around, walking towards part of the dense forest. A bell like laugh echoed through the forest. “I didn’t expect a human who would be so committed to their photos.”“It’s how I get paid.” He replied, but he didn’t turn around. He didn’t know what to expect if he did, so he decided to forgo learning about it.“Didn’t anyone teach you to look at who you’re talking too?”“I’m talking to an albino deer.”“I’m not albino right now.” A pause. “And I wouldn’t consider my deer form albino either. My eyes aren’t pink.” It did have a point.“Good to know. I’m going to find my way out now.” A huff. He took a step forward only to collide into someone.“Good to know? That’s all?” So this was the deer. “I can turn into a deer at will and you just say good to know?!”
She was petite. Barley reaching his shoulder. Her hair was in low pigtails, tied with white lace ribbon. It matched her dress, which was summery in design. She bore no shoes. “Yes. Good to know. Thanks again for the pictures, deer.” The girl grumbled and walked next to him.“You know that the path is that way right?” She inquired, pointing to his left. “I’ll be happy to accompany on your way back. To make sure you don’t get lost.” Felix felt the ghost of a smile tug at his lips.“Sure. It’ll be a good apology for getting me lost in the first place.” The girl let out several stutters out of anger, but helped him nonetheless, and as he got his paycheque it occurred to him that he never learned her name. Or got a picture of her as a human.
