With every further word that was coming out of Taes mouth, the vein on Alex' forehead appeared to grow to a point where it threatened to burst.

Despite his anger - or maybe it was even worse because of his anger - Alex felt goosebumps spreading on his whole body as the drow dashed forward to let his battle cry echo into everyones ears. It was undeniable that watching him fight with instincts and planned precision was an impressing view of breathtaking spectacle. And yet, it also was undeniable that they ended up in more than just one preventable situation of danger caused by one of Taes spontanious irrational moods such as this.

"Wrong, they just didn't kill us yet", Alex retorted, "and in case they ever will..". After the radiating beam blinded the enemies, the elf interrupted his scolding for an 'invenium via!' warping himself behind the enemy as he encased his blade with green flames and stroke down one of the beasts that already had taken its fair share of injuries by the drows assault. When it fell and made Tae appear in Alex vision again, he grabbed him by his collar to pull him closer.

"..believe me I'll ensure to hunt down your sorry ass to wherever it will end. So no more jumping down into bottomless pits, you hear me?".

One little tug was given to pull him down slightly, as Alex stooped as well to avoid the incoming axe of a blinded minotaur, before he let go to let them both continue their attacks against their enemies.

Tae listened to Alex's raised voice, feeling the tension rise, though the drow on the other side seemed to be enjoying the last moments of the feather fall spell.

"Do you even realize where we could have ended up?!" the Half-Elf exclaimed, gesturing wildly, as if it weren't entirely obvious where they would land after jumping down from the cave into the chasm.

"Well… right next to the Matriarch's spider," Tae replied, his eyes glancing sideways at the spider's corpse beside them.

For once, the quick-witted half-elf was rendered speechless. After his absolute wacky and pointless undertaking of jumping down a bottomless hole, Tae still was barefaced enough to pull on Alex patience.

And while he always thought his calmth was endless, it hung on nothing but a dangerously thin thread in this very moment.

"And if that spider ended up in a sea of lava or a nest of hooked horrors!? Use your head for once you goddamn idiot!", he barked.

Then, he took a deep breath, rubbing over the back of his nose as he exhaled, resisting the strong urge to grab his companion to lift and shake him in hopes it could bring back some sense into his lunatic head.
