this might seem like a dumb question, but I was wondering how do you create a pinned post? I’m sorta new to tumblr and wanted to know how create a navigation post of some sort. Thank you 🫶🏾

hi anon : ) hmmm it's really simple! there's no right or wrong way to do it, the main point of a pinned post is to simply have all your important links in one place so it can act as a redirectory — so i have my rules, masterlist, tag directory, wips and ao3 profile on my pinned post. you can use cmd+k to hyperlink!

I'm not really going to be such an aloof ambigous mysterious creator or whatever because that's pretentious and I already broke character from that lmao

Anyway I might try to make a redirectory to like content warnings in case of triggers and such... or like maybe a banner or a pop up on the top of certain blogs.

And while some might say it's unrealistic that a character in such great danger would go through the effort of trigger tagging...or even posting on tumblr dot com at all... I'm gonna try to remember to tag posts as necessary anyway!! (ie fire, blood, body horror, medical, etc.)

And I'm probably going to add some "url.tumblr.com/about" pages and such eventually

Why I had to relocate...

Just recently I learned that my mother had been getting into my account, and as I really enjoy this website (sometimes lol) I don't enjoy the invasion of my privacy. I had to do a full account change bc I had to use an Email and password nobody in my family knows about. Anyway, I'm suffering bc I'm still trying to get it together, and also clean up my old account so it looks less gay (I'm not out to my family lol). Also, the posts giving a redirectory to this blog will be deleted when I think my mum has internet access, for now, it'll stay there. (I'm keeping my personal tag the same tho)
