I have been collecting forsaken, stranded, dumped and ditched pylons for about 15 years and what a ride it has been... here is a little snippet of some test screens for ready made stop motion animations I have been doing lately.

After each destroy breaking and disassembling I always feel being a little closer of void.

For me the void is not a mental space, but a timeless time where there is no material.

The atoms that kept my actions and thoughts together have dissolved and the consciousness of infinity has faded into annihilation.

There are no ruins of mind or structures from which to return to this very moment.

Only the stationary present moment without witnesses.

There is no infinity without a spectator.

I love when this happens. For some reason my Ice pick kind of demolition tool is a perfect device and a perfect color match for stabbing this ultrasonic penguin humidifier into the abyss and beyond!

Here we go again!

Keyboard is the biggest object I have ever tried to grate. Exciting to see if the grater will survive this historcal chunk of elctronic junk.

Grated is a series of everyday objects grated with a cheese grater. One grater and one object. Duel to the death with no other tools allowed. Ultimate man vs. plastic endurance test.

What is art for you? Why is art made? What is the purpose of art? These are the questions you may ask. In my case art can be one (or many) plastic stick removed from the nature.

I collect these for installation purposes but maybe the final work is not the most important thing in this case. Or maybe it is? To make my performance visible to allow some new questions to raise about everything.

I have no idea what perfromance art is and I feel like I have been doing it for my whole life. Maybe art really is like life itself. Most of us dont know why we live. we just do.

 Artist of the month @ Galleria Becker, Jyväskylä.

The Fire Water Earth Air (tulivesimaailma) installation has been compiled from ready-made sculptures that I have collected in different years  (2019-2021) from different parts of Finland. The starting point of the installation is the birth of our planet and the forces that influenced it. The earth rose from the water, covering the fire, and the air was cleansed of toxins. Life was allowed to breathe until we invented plastic. Our individually packed world is ready for another revolution.

Setting up my new animation studio about two months behind the schedule because of life and one broken hand. If you look closely at my face you can see I am not happy (I usually am when working(believe or not)). The reason why I am  not happy is mostly because my arm still hurts like hell but I have to start shooting anyways because this space is now available for me.

The yellow item on the table is some kind of electric chocolate decoration/fondue factory thingy. I am sure the previous owner realllly needed it.
