Odd Asian SheetMasks

I wonder if Westerners ever think Asian skincare is just messing with us?

An advantage of living in Taiwan–easy access to Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese skincare!

Is Bird’s Nest more of a Chinese thing? I don’t really see it pop up much in Korean or Japanese beauty. Snail and Horse Oil have been popping up a lot, though. Didn’t notice Bee Venom (I posted Royal Jelly just in case some of you think “bee venom” is code for “honey”), Snake, or Donkey Milk before.

Quick reminder of what my face looks like, as I’ve been pretty absent these last 10 days! Holidaying in Asia atm, and taking the chance to do a bit of a social media detox too. . 🍓 Tonight’s #sheetmask is the #Strawberry Yoghurt mask from #Lherboflore, one of the 12 masks I brought with me to asia! Though I’ve not been super good at the daily masking, too many fun but tiring days. Purchased this from @miirushop using a coupon Eden gave me. Though I have bought this before on my own, so knew what to expect! . 🍓 This mask has a decent fit for me, as you can see, and little slits in the mask so I can adjust if I needed to. Also means I can speak pretty well while wearing the mask. . 🍓#Yummy subtle strawberry scent to this mask. Though doesn’t last the entire 30 mins that I can wear the mask. It’s soaked in essence which means it sticks pretty well to my face. I was able to pack my rucksack while wearing this mask with no issues. . 🍓 Skin was hydrated, happier and softer to the touch after wearing this mask. I fortunately don’t have any wrinkles just yet, so can’t speak to the ‘smoothing’ effects it promises.
