Hekichi Monument (Monument): Built in August 1919 by Tomojiro Kakizaki, a former feudal retainer of the Matsumae Clan, on the old battlefield of Inakuraishi to commemorate the war dead of the Matsumae Clan. It’s been a really long time to post my diary, but my passion for gardening is still growing! Far from my home garden, I really miss my roses and fruits… Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I changed my flight plan. I wish I could come back there soon. I ordered some fruits seedlings this year and they have been just delivered to my home garden! My mom has sent me these photos. Dreaming to see the harvest🥰

Japanese plums, peaches, an apple and roses, of course! I’m glad that the seedlings look healthy. Rosa ‘White abundance’, ‘Starlight symphony’ and ‘Yukari(縁)’, meaning connection and fates in Japanese. All three of them are Harkness roses! I bought them by a bargain hunting at Takii seed(Japanese nursery) .

Takii Seedlings is so poor that they can't even pay their debt of 600 yen.(essay)

I have been working with this largest seed company in Japan for 30 years. Recently, this company has acted ignoring the "procedure" twice, so I have returned the products sent as a result.

The company called me asking why, and when I explained it, the woman at the company was convinced. I asked, "Then what about the refund?" She offered me a way to get in touch and I hung up abruptly. I haven't received another call since then.

Takii Seedling is the oldest and largest seed company in Japan. But it's a "lord's business". They will probably ignore the 160 yen stamp fee that was required to return the item, and the 600 yen combined with the 440 yen product fee will not be returned. This company probably doesn't have the funds to pay the debt of 600 yen.

タキイ種苗は日本最古・最大の種苗会社である。でも、「殿様商売」だな。返品に要した１６０円の切手代は無視するだろうし、商品代４４０円とあわせて６００円は返ってこないだろう。この会社には、負債６００円を払う資金もないのだろう。
