The "I Kale You Not" Burger!

FOR A SINGLE BURGER:

Ingredients:

1/3rd pound of hamburger (preferably 10% fat 90% lean)

Small amount of olive oil

1 stem of kale

¼th of an onion, diced

Standard buns

1 tomato

1 head of lettuce

Pepperjack cheese

Chipotle Ranch sauce

Optional: Bacon 3 slices

Cooking Directions:

First, we pull out a pan and a chopping board. On the chopping board we dice up the onions and kale and throw it in the pan with two caps of olive oil. We want these to brown, not caramelized, so only fry them for a few minutes. Then pull out a mixing bowl and put the hamburger and fried ingredients from the pan in there. After that, mix them together into a ball and be ready to fry this up. Here if you want a bit of tangyness, add one shot of Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey instead of olive oil to get the meat all fried and juicy. If you want, and I highly suggest, put the bacon on the pan also and the burger and the bacon will get into a flavor frenzy. Remember to fry this at a good medium heat. Now, slice the tomato thinly, and I’m talking ¼th a CM thick, and take three of those slices and on the bottom gun. Next take the Chipotle Ranch and slather that on the top bun, you want a good layer on there. Once the bacon is fried, check to see how brown one side of the burger is and flip it when browned properly and then lay some pepper jack cheese on the party. After the bacon is taken off the pan, tear each slice in half and layer that on the ranched up half of the top bun. After the bacon tear some of the lettuce up and put that on the bacon. Now once that burger is finished being fried and that cheese is nice and melted on, take the patty and put that on the bottom half of the bun on top of the tomatoes. After that we finish up by combining the two half of the burger and make that one delicious meal!

Now you can enjoy the burger. Remember, it’s fun to experiment so go ahead and try adding something new to the recipe.
