I am two volumes into Clockwork Planet and I’m wondering how the hell is this so much better than No Game No Life.
#like. it's l i g h t y e a r s better than NGNL#so far#maybe it's b/c it lacks the squicky siscon vibes and the yuribait and the God Mod OP MC#and the master/slave element isn't - AFAIK - anywhere near problematic like i'd thought it'd be#b/c the 'slave' in question actually has a good reason to look down on humanity and compare it to *mitochondria*#idk i think it's pretty neat atm#also marie's the best character by far change my mind#tbf i haven't watched NGNL in a couple years#b/c you know. unresolved cliffhanger#but i remember other than the setting i just. did not really it outside of the chess match#there's a manga adaptation so idk if it's any better#manga#armi reads manga
