When Evan died (was when Michael was 15) Michael dropped out of high school because everyone obviously didn't like having the kid that killed his own brother near them and his friends we're forced to stop being friends with him by their parents (Fredrick actually wanted to stop being friends with him) and so he couldn't handle it and just left and since he's been around for so long and rarely does math he will look at algebra and be like "why the FUCK does it look like that" and his own child is like "well it's algebra and you don't understand it because you dropped out of high school" (none of them are old enough for algebra classes but goober is really smart for literally no reason other than "haha very smart kid that's smarter than their dad")
