I’m realizing that after a few weeks of daily Biodynamic Meditation, that when I start sitting, the healing process begins. It is helpful when you’re just learning Biodynamic Meditation to tune into the tide moving up and down your midline. When you’re ready it will go into a stillpoint. The motion will pause. And when you’re ready, that stillpoint will transform the tide into a swirliness that moves freely in your body to the places that are ready for healing. Sometimes you can feel the transformation happening. Sometimes it’s more subtle. Much more to learn here. What’s happening now, on Day 34, is that once I get into my sitting posture and do some Bhastrika breaths, there’s less Monkey Mind, less vertical tidal motion, and I feel radiance at my face, a sign that deeper healing energies are present and available. The energy chooses where to work. Last week for several days it worked on my cranium. Now it seems to be focusing more on my pelvis, today working on the inner side of my sacrum and where I have scar tissue from childbirth years ago. I’m learning by doing, teaching to learn, learning to teach. Photo of my late NLP teacher Tom Best, a self-realized being. Thank you, Tom. #biodynamicmeditation #craniosacralbiodynamics #craniosacraltherapy #cranio #selfhealing #healingfromtheinsideout #tide #midline #stillpoint #swirliness #transformation #radiance #learning #teaching #teachingtolearn #learningtoteach (at Austin, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmJ_REGpYdc/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

It has been a cold, snowy winter here in New York. With these "wintry symptoms" comes a lot of disruptions. Public School cancellations, early dismissals and delays. These disruptions wouldn't necessarily effect most homeschooling families, however everyday disruptions ( phone calls, appointments, computer, etc.) do. The fact remains that things disrupt our day, which is frustrating. Consistency has always been a key for success. With reoccurring disruptions, how can I be consistent with teaching and learning? For me it boils down to flexibility. I am a planner of thematic units, of self studies, of nys math and history curriculums. I further my son's experiences with learning more deeply, simply because I can and because I thoroughly enjoy it. By being aware and allowing myself the chance to be flexible, I/we can continue the learning throughout life's constant disruptions. My school day typically starts at 7:30 and ends at 2:00...however our "learning" never ends at 2:00. I'm learning as I grow as a homeschooling mom. Some days allow for 6 hours of learning others might allow 3 hours. My feeling is as long as you (the teaching parent) are feeling proud, prepared and a bit flexible, you can and will be successful teaching your child- disruptions and all.

Today’s Biodynamic Meditation is still happening. I went into a stillpoint, and now an area in my left prefrontal cortex is receiving resources. Wow. I don’t have more time to devote to sitting, and I have no idea how long this will continue before it’s complete, or at least complete enough for today, because we are all always works in progress. Today is my first day back in my office after a week of training in DC. Looking forward to a busy week ahead. I may be asking a client or two if they would like me to help them feel their tide. #biodynamicmeditation #selfhealing #craniosacral #biodynamics #stillpoint #tide #learningtoteach #teachingtolearn #leftprefrontalcortex #livingisverbing (at Austin, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClylaDXOERl/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
