Prince Goro!! 💪💪💪💪 He shed to L6 last night!! Very purple on his back still! Weird how that happens, maybe it's the red lids on their containers? Or the dark wood in their tanks/table they're on? Who knows, but it's still cool that they vary in colour from the ones I released. Goro here, turns out, has 5 belly segments now!! (So he's a trans man after all lmaO.) Weird, how I was so sure he was going to be male because of how fast he grew. Still, the fact that he's the one who sheds first means the other two Bigge Bois are probably going to molt again any day now. TW INSECTS BUGS BUGGY LEG MOVEMENTS!! [ TW BUGS INSECTS FEEDING TIME ] The Bigge Bois are all named!! Meet my fave 6-limbed badasses Sheeva (AKA Her Royal Highness Miss Tiny), Goro (so named because he's the one that's the most proactive in hunting), Kintaro, and Motaro. [Also close up of Goro finishing off din-dins.] 🦗🦗🦗🦗 My printer is a motherfu ker that of course messed up, and it looks like I'm low on Yellow, but it'll do for my mantis babbies. Finally, I can keep track of who's who. (I could pick out Tiny obviously for being the late bloomer, and Motaro for being in a different tank, but the other two were identical.) Kintaro seems to be more chill, waiting for prey to come to him before striking. Motaro is looking exceptionally Long today, and I can see he's got a full belly now, too! Sheeva is still SO small, I have a hard time seeing how her next morph is going to be into the same size of the others lmao. ONE OF THE BIGGE BOIS SHED AGAIN!!!! 🦗🦗🦗🦗 HE'S NOW L5!! LMAO. I literally just put them on a diet, too!! (I was feeding them every day, I should have been feeding them like 3x a week (at MAX) after their first shed...) I can't believe how big the difference between this molt and the previous is, like he doubled in size!! Maybe it's because I've kept them near a heat source? (My snake's light!) Maybe I should be keeping them colder? I don't want them to die of old age when they're only a few weeks old!! 😭 I think he only has a few more molts left before he gets real wings? And I'm fairly certain this bigge boi is indeed male! I've had some names planned, but I'll wait to tell until I make nametags. ((Also, I know. They're due for tank cleans [and proper names!] It's on my to-do list today.
