Ugh, Tessa always dresses so cute! I love this outfit with her tropical button up that looks straight out of Snake’s closet. I can’t remember wether she’s wearing a skirt or regular pants in this episode, but whatever it is, it’s a gorgeous shade of salmon. She’s paired this with gold hoops and her signature mildly concerned expression.

An exploration of TESSA CAMPANELLI's fashion (part 1/4 the rest will be in reblogs)

Tessa starts out the show as an extra, and a grade 7. We see her at the very beginning with big sweaters, in bold colours but not really cohesive, in the way children's clothing usually are. She also has the same sweater in pink and white. Important to note is that in the first three appearances she's wearing a turtleneck underneath, but the fourth time she's not. That's when she wonders if Lucy actually slept with Paul. It's also the first time she wears a skirt.

We will return to this look later on, but I do want you to keep in mind this is from the first time she's tied to the advanced kids friend group (Scooter, Bartholomew, Dorothy)

To go bowling she wears this tropical print, which is another look I'll go back to, but it is to note that this is the first time she interact positively with someone from the class of '93 and just male kind in general

More sweaters, more turtlenecks. We get a tight skirt, but it's denim on either leggings or tights so heavy you could mistake them for pants. It's also pretty long

This is the first dress we see Tessa in, and it's also the first time she's actually plot relevant. It's baby's first Christmas dress basically, it's childish, formal but uncomfortable, and also way too formal for the occasion. Contrast with Heather's school dance outfit in 102 which is a jumpsuit.

First she’s in this floral long sleeve tee, and I had to get a close up of those nails in that nice 80s color. She vents to Dorothy in a brick-colored short sleeve sweater and teal skirt (or are they shorts? I can’t remember). And finally, she tries to let Alex down easy in this light pink tee.
