If you drive on Texas roads, whether it is in a passenger car, motorcycle, pickup truck, van, bus, moped, or other motorized vehicle, that vehicle must display a Texas inspection sticker. Many people attempt to have their vehicles inspected, but fail due to some mechanical problem or other. What do the inspectors look for? What happens if your vehicle fails? Do you know the Texas inspection sticker law? Gas Safety Regulations put strict requirements on Landlords to ensure that the boiler and gas systems in rental properties are safe and well maintained on an annual basis. However, there is not the same level of requirement on Landlords to ensure that the electrics in a property are adequate and PAT testing is not a compulsory requirement unlike Gas Safety Inspections. The Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 provides that an electrical installation in a property is "Safe when a tenancy begins" and "Maintained in a safe condition throughout the tenancy".

Owning a mobile home can be fun, getting away at weekends with the family as well as spending long periods in the summertime, but how safe is your mobile home? Your mobile home is like an extension of your main home, and as such, needs an annual gas safety check carried out to make sure you and your family will be safe. Gas training courses are open to nearly anyone. A usual student may be somebody that is already working with a friend in the gas or plumbing type of industry. Or may perhaps be someone looking for a change in career and do not have any previous experience. No matter who you are, everyone should be capable of finishing at least one of our gas courses which will help you to obtain a gas certification. At the end of 2014, R-22 refrigerant will be banned under EU legislation. So air conditioner systems with R-22 gas will effectively become redundant as any loss of gas cannot be replaced. It is estimated that there are still millions of R-22 systems still in operation, but the main reason for businesses delaying implementation of R-22 replacement systems is, putting it simply, the expense.

When you choose to let out your home, there are various things that you have to do before it is suitable to let out. These include getting the home in a good condition, working out how you will accept rent and there are also various certificates that you will need for legal reasons. It is not just as simple as finding tenants, moving them in and collecting the rent.

Uber has now groundedits entire autonomous test fleetin the U.S., following an accidentin Arizona which left one of its Volvo SUVs flipped on its side earlier today. The car was in self-driving mode at the time of the incident.
As we reportedearlier, the company suspended the pilotin Arizona in the immediate aftermath of the crash. But it has now said its grounded its entire autonomous fleet so also in the two otherregions where it is currently piloting theself-driving cars: Pittsburg and San Francisco.
Our vehicles in Arizona remain grounded while we continue our investigation. Our vehicles are grounded in Pittsburgh and SF today as well, an Uber spokeswoman told us.
Four hours ago the same spokeswoman told us the fleet was grounded in Arizona but did not mention the other two locations so it appears the company has decided to expand the suspension in the past few hours.
The spokeswoman confirmed that the Arizona grounding will last as long as the duration of the investigation into the crashbut added that the wider suspension does not have a set timing so its not clear how long all self-driving Ubers will be parked. Presumably at least for the rest of today.
Although Uber pulled the autonomous vehicles outofSF lastDecember, after a disputewith local regulators, a smaller fleet returned to Californias roads earlier this month after it wasgranted a permit to test two self-driving cars. InPhoenix and Pittsburg Uber has been testing12 cars apiece.
All Uberstest vehiclesincludea human driver sitting in the drivers seat so they are in a position to take over driving should that be necessary.
In the Arizona incident, in which no one has been reported seriously injured, the WSJreports local police saying Ubers self-driving technology was not responsiblefor the accident insteada regular vehicle failed to yield.
As we noted earlier, the crashis just the latest in a string of bad news stories for Uber including severalrelated toits self-driving technology but alsobeyond that, with accusations the company has a problem withsystemic sexisminits corporateculture.
That run of bad publicity might explain why its taken the decision to err on the side of caution in this instance and ground all its autonomous vehicles, despite the tech notbeing accused of culpability.
