I don't mind telling you that this one nearly kicked my butt! Turns out that longer passages are easier as minor compressions or extensions of the letter forms can help hide problems with centering. With just six words spread over four lines, there is VERY little room for error. The Textura Quadrata is done with a 2.5mm Pilot Parallel Pen loaded with Thornton's Oxblood over as 2:4:2 guide. The Spencerian is done with a titanium Zebra G nib fitted into a Michael Sull oblique pen holder and iron gall ink over a 2:1:2 guide with a 2.5mm x-height.
