Thankfully, Gossipers, we managed to make it through the first month of a new year unscathed. Well, mostly unscathed. While most scrambled to perform serious damage control after Howard Archibald's hack, the rest of us carried on. This whole thing would blow over fast, right? There was no major damage... right? After having only salvaged their reputation, Anne Vanderbilt and Nate Archibald are once again New York's most whispered about. While Anne has opted to flee back to the Hamptons, Nate has been left to take the brunt of the accusations. Our former insider turned outsider is now turned social pariah. We wouldn't stand too close to him if we were you. 'Gossip Girl' has taken a small step back, perhaps even shocked herself at Howard's surprise return. That doesn't mean she's dead and gone, though. While everyone looks one way, she still holds the cards to many of our secrets we thought buried. In typical Upper East fashion, though, everyone is freshly abuzz with news of a Valentine's Day party. In the fabulous theme of 'Moulin Rouge!', we'll be transported to a night in Paris, hosted by none other than our own Logan Hunter. Taking inspiration from previous events, Logan's arranged a 'perfect match' game for those daring enough to play. Who knows? This could be a game changer.

For birthdays this month, @jessica-knightly can post whenever ready for a birthday post. The event will take place on February 14th IC, so Logan and @elexncrrcse can post during the event. MONTH UPDATE: JANUARY 2025

Well, we've made it Gossipers! New year, new me... new drama. December saw the return of the Fairchild Ball, now rebranded to the 'Winter Ball' and Ella Fairchild did everything she could to make it a success. And it was, for a while. Everyone was invited and we saw the iconic appearance of many Upper East Side parents. Even Anne Arch- Vanderbilt was in attendance! Things hit a snag when the lights went out (gasp!) and a scene was caused. Everyone's phones were buzzing off the hook but this was one gift no one wanted. Howard Archibald had made himself known and that he's here for #revenge. With his announcement, there was a major hack on many Upper East Siders' companies, secrets leaked and money stolen. And yet again, The Captain was at the centre of it. What were we to do? The night ended with a bang! From there, it was all hands on deck for damage control. What a way to spend the holidays, right? Even so, many of our Upper East Siders fled for sunnier pastures and saw the New Year come in style. Whoever kissed or clinked glasses, only time will tell. With a new-old threat back in town, are we all distracted from Gossip Girl's return? Is she involved somehow? Will more secrets be spilled? Let's find out. XOXO

You are cordially invited to the first annual 'Winter Ball' hosted by the ineffable Ella Fairchild.

Now, we know what you're thinking Gossipers, 'first annual!?'. Yes, this is a rebrand. No, Ella Fairchild will not be commenting on it. The 'Fairchild Ball' is a thing of the past now (thanks to Howard Archibald's extreme foolishness) and after a long break... Ella is ready to take the reigns again. It is going to be lavish, festive, memorable and fun (but not too fun!). The guest list is locked and security will be doubled but it's going to be a blast. Everyone who's anyone will be there and it's the perfect time to get the whole family together (what could go wrong, right?). There will be dancing (we couldn't re-brand the famous Fairchild waltz now, could we?), gifts, toasts and much more. We simply cannot wait to see you there!

OOC Information:

The 'Winter Ball' will kick off tomorrow, Friday 20th December and will run into January! As it's the holiday season, please don't feel any pressure to be on, take your time! The event will be relaxed and fun and tooooootally drama free (until the plot drop in January!)

We've made it into another month, Gossipers! Can you believe it?

Well, November was fairly gentle on us. There were no major scandals, no public break ups or betrayals... There were however rumblings in corporate land. Just what has got people like Atticus Bass up in arms? Why are the phones ringing off the hook at offices like Donovan, Hunter and Ramirez? Why is Lili Mahdavi suddenly everywhere Gabriela Archibald looks?

Something is happening. Someone is making moves in the shadows.

But you know we don't like to dwell, not when there's a party to plan! After a hiatus (hello, the disastrous Fairchild Ball that Howard Archibald was arrested at!), Ella Fairchild is ready to step back into society with a bang.

The Fairchilds have rebranded the ball- 'The Winter Wonderland Ball'- and are ready to put the past in the past. This is going to be the event of the season. Maximum glitz and glam, and security. There's no way anything is going to go wrong.

So, we have a fabulous event coming up! Our 'Winter Wonderland Ball' is going to a dazzling event where everyone'll be dressed to the nines, dancing, gossiping and being merry. Further details and a date will be set soon! But your characters can start being hyped!

At the ball, the #parents will be invited and you can play them via your characters' blog!

There will be a plot drop at this event I'm going to send some messages out about-- we can stir the pot together and cause our poor characters some stress lol!

Besties, as you know I had an uncharacteristically busy September/start of October. I am both back on land and back home so excited to keep things going! Well, well Gossipers– here we are in yet another month. Let’s recap, shall we?

October. Fall. Pumpkin spice season! Who didn't have a blast, right? The word on everyone's lips was FNB (which definitely counts as one word). The much anticipated premiere fell on Halloween so naturally there would a costume party. The iconic on-screen love triangle Sienna Haven, Frankie Vives and Scottie Takeda dazzled on the red carpet. They were, of course, joined by legendary new cast-mates- including Jamie Park and Kela Zwena!

Not even William Huntzberger's birthday could over shadow such a fabulous event. The press were out in full, including Kouture magazine's top writers.

But where was Gossip Girl? Nate Archibald was certainly sweating all night over it and yet... Not a peep. That's not a good sign, right? Are we all breathing a sigh of relief? Maybe it was a one time thing, right? Well, she got her revenge on Jesse Walker, right? And the collateral damage of a few of his besties... Maybe that was enough.

Maybe not.

Only time will tell... There's never been a more important time to keep an eye on your messages.

So, what's coming up in November? What's the hot goss?

It's time to start thinking tfrparent again! There'll be a wee task posted soon about your characters' parents- especially for those who have never played with them before (we're excited!!). This will set up our next event!

Well, well Gossipers-- here we are in yet another month. Let's recap, shall we?

September saw the return to college for some of our Upper East Siders, including Tessa Cooper. After her fallout with Rose Haven over lying about only being accepted to colleges outside of NY (thanks to Gossip Girl giving Rose the evidence!), it's probably best she ran.

Recovery was the name of the game as everyone digested Gossip Girl's last blast (some taking longer than others to decode it-- Jake Hunter). When would she strike next? Who would she strike at next? We're all sweating but alas, life must go on!

Returning to the Upper East Side, we saw the fabulous Latife Levent, Lola Mercado and Andie Trang! Then, cameras flashing, Scottie Takeda of 'Friday Night Bites' crash landed. With a new season premiere coming up, we can't wait to see him around more!

MONTH UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 2024

August slipped away into a moment in time...

Hello Gossipers and welcome to the next month in our IC timeline!

That's right, we've made it into September. So, let's recap shall we?

Last month, our main highlight came from the return of Ceren and the 'welcome home!' party that Logan threw for her. At Ceren's party, tensions weren't quite as high as they were at the beach bash (if you're not counting whatever was going on between Ceren and William Huntzberger).

All was peaceful... We even spotted Isobel and Ceren reuniting. But these things never last, right? Gossip Girl just had to make an appearance and that night she had it out for: Jake Hunter, Nilay Levent and William Huntzberger-- with some collateral damage on the side.

It seems GG was being very serious about spilling our secrets and she seems to be everywhere, sending texts and planting evidence (or is that her little helper?).

We also had the fabulous debut of Phoebe Walker and Kelly Xu-King onto the Upper East Side!

Now, what next? What's everyone gossiping about?

I'm noticing that when making a new post, it's in the new Beta editor that Tumblr has been rolling out (change the colour of words, auto save to drafts-- some highlights). What this could mean, is that you may end up with a doubler on your replies when you cut your posts then post them when using the old Legacy Editor. Best thing to do if you're not ready to give up on her yet, is to download X-Kit Rewritten as well. That way, you can tidy up any doublers as you go and have the 'trim reblogs' in your back pocket should legacy see its last days.
