"that was just awful, wasn't it? but we can't let it ruin our night, especially when we look this good. plus, ella fairchild with something to prove? it's gonna be the most tonight."

"i don't know angie, they can do a lot of damage in half an hour. remember the christmas of twenty-seventeen?" she laughed and let her sister-in-law add whatever she wanted onto the gift bags. "i thought you'd never ask. as much as i like these events, i can't help but be on red alert thanks to the howard archibald of it all"

"oh, you and me both. no better time for our families, right? it just wouldn't be the same without us all together. can you believe how little they used to be too? running around, causin' a fuss while we were singing songs and spikin' our egg nog. i'm just so darn proud of them, i could burst." angie couldn't wait to get her teeth into the holiday season. her annual party was coming up, then there was spoiling the little one her very first christmas, and then new year... so much to look forward to. "so true, darlin'. gotta keep us in high supply."

angie beamed as ece looked through the photos. she could not get enough of her grandbaby. "aw, well thank you for saying that. i just think alex isn't quite used to all the love yet."

"i love the holidays with our crowd. ever since the kids were little, i've always had fond memories of the holidays" she was a sentimental woman and cherished all the memories. "they will? wonderful! i've not seen them both in a while, longer than i'd like. let me take care of the bottles" ece called over a waiter and ordered for the table and with some for good measure. "no harm in having plenty of champagne and wine to go round"

she awww'd and fussed over how cute the photos were of angies grandchild "she is absolutely darling. she's so cute, angie" she beamed "how could anyone be sick of you?"

Logan Hunter's Holidays ❆

This was Logan's first Christmas as a parent!!! So you know that Baby Lexa was spoiled absolutely rotten for her very FIRST Christmas. By Logan, by her grandparents. Logan split his time between a gorgeous Christmas morning with Alex and Lexa and later, Logan and Isobel definitely had #sexychristmas.

Mrs Angie Hunter throws an annual holiday party where she PERFORMS her greatest hits! It's lavish, stunning and everyone always has a stunning time. If you didn't have a place ot go, a family to hype you up, then the Hunters certainly did.

Over the holidays, Logan's dad had a super serious talk with him about taking a job at the company. With everything that happened at the Fairchild Winterball, Robert could... use Logan's support. (That must have been hard to say). And besides, shouldn't they think about getting more serious?

New Year's was as #iconic as ever though!!! (Definitely smooched their gal Isobel when the ball dropped!) Although, they were a lil worried about Ceren... Her vibe has seemed totally off since the Winterball...

"Understood," Robert replied, dry swallowing down multiple heart burn tablets. It wasn't enough. He appreciated that Natalie Haven was the best in the business, he did. And she knew what she was talking about, there was no doubt about it. Robert waited to see if he might be comforted by her words but it never came. Very well. "Sew my lips shut, Natalie. I'm never talking to anyone again and the list wasn't very long to begin with."

Natalie's phone was pinging so much it was getting dangerously warm her hand, frantic text messages and emails for help to contain the scandal and protect reputations coming through rapid fire as everyone around her panicked and went into damage control. She briefly wondered if the device would spontaneously combust. She tore her eyes away from the screen and saw one of what would probably be dozens of clients approaching her, looking pale and stricken.

"I'm going to tell you what I'll be telling everyone behind you. Don't say anything until we know more. Keep your mouth shut. Tell me you understand."

"Harry, stop me from firing everyone who's ever walked into my office. Tell me it's irrational because I'm a second away from stripping the place to the bones." Where was Angie? She could talk him down without trying. "I can't have a heart attack at Christmas, my wife will never forgive me."

Harry felt sick as the message from Howard Archibald flashed across his phone screen. His business, employees, and clients were compromised, he was compromised. He didn't know what to do.

"This can't be happening."

[ laughs ] Ah, you know flattery gets you everywhere, darlin'! You better not hype me up too much, I promised I wouldn't break out into any tunes tonight. Oh, how is our Jackson getting along? I think I saw him in passing coming in.

Maybe I need to try it out. I have grown to love shrimp puffs. Well what can I say, it is a smart decision. [laughs ] If he gets the recipe, make sure to send it to me Ang. Oh please, I'm nothing compared to the star that is you.

"cer!" logan shouted from across the bar, making their way down with a huge grin. he felt like he hadn't seen his best gal in forever even though that wasn't true. still, a couple of days felt like a lifetime never mind longer. "hello, my beautiful girl-," he greeted, pulling her into a hug- "happy holidays." logan pulled back then and their grin faltered so slightly. it was-- well, he didn't know. it was probably nothing, just something about her seemed... he wasn't sure.

"you look iconic as ever, my mom will just die when she sees your dress. everything going okay?" he asked, giving her hand a squeeze.

the event was the last place she wanted to be. not because she didn't love a party, but in light of recent happenings in her life, ceren wanted nothing more than to be wrapped up in blankets and out of the eyes of the upper east side.

putting on her best face, ceren manoeuvred her way around the ball, saying her hellos to people in passing until she finally reached the bar to order a drink "a belvedere and soda with three lemons, juiced and carcass out please"

"you and me both, darlin'. i can't think of better way to kick off the holidays than with you all. oh, so true!" angie let out a delighted and loud laugh at the thought. mrs fitzherbert had been haunting these halls for as long as she could remember. "i can't wait! suki and nathan should be along soon too. they're gonna have to replenish our bottles at the table."

angie clapped excitedly, bringing up her array of pics of the little cutie. "isn't she the most? i'm absolutely obsessed. i keep thinkin' i'm scaring our alex off too every time i come over to visit them but she's not sick of me yet."

"i'll never know what i've done to bring you incredible people into my life. i'm spoiled to have the friends and family i have. i think it might be number nine now? i'm not sure, she changes husbands like she changes handbags. i've not seen ceren yet, walter and i have been travelling for work, but she's never one to underdress. we should, we've not done a group photo since our last trip"

ece gasped and nodded "yes! show me immediately!"

"ah, you know i can get competitive. me and walt just know it's important to do what you love and we love liftin' you up, honey. well, you can never have enough husbands... what's she been on now? number eight? poor walter. i can text robert to go rescue him, he's a star at shutting down small talk. oh, of course! i bet sweet ceren is looking a million bucks as well. if we get the whole gang at the table tonight, we have to grab a holiday snap. speaking of!"

she whipped out her phone faster than seemed legal. "do you want to see pics of my grandbaby in a pikachu onesie?"

"i don't know who pays me more compliments, you or walter" he laughed "i assume he's running late because mrs fitzherbert has cornered him into a conversation. she does love trying to convince him to run away with her. but he was also going to check on ceren before meeting us, that could also be the delay, he's a doting dad"

"that robert would take gold in the world's greatest sulkin'-fest. let's give 'em another half hour at least before we step in. now there's the spirit! i'll get ella to add it to your gift bag. speaking of sulking at the bar-," she beamed at her beloved sister-in-law, "drink?"

"robert will be off sulking somewhere with jack, likely at the nearest bar." she mused looking over the clothing "i don't hate it, i'd be open to trying it"
