Task 03: The day Joseph Calder was murdered.

Looking into the mirror he hated what he saw. He looked like a little boy with a clean shaved face and his brown hair slicked back along with that navy suit, in shorter description he looked like a piece of shit. It was yet another end of an evening of lying, smiling and pretending he was happy. From a major argument with his father to going out smiling as if nothing happened, listening to his father tell people how proud he was of him when indeed just an hour before he called him a failure. The issue was not that he was wrong or right, because Adrian might as well be a failure, traitor even, he truly is to these people declining to take over the hotels and the business, but how much of a lie he was living in. It was a constant reminder everyday that truth nor being happy did not matter, but status does. Little did he know that everything was going to change.

You would think Adrian Calder was a lot younger than he was. That grumpy naked face with his attitude it was hard to make him out to be in his late twenties. He usually let his stubble show, but not on events that would just lead to more arguments than before. It wasn’t long ago Adrian dropped to his parents he did not want to take over the business and gave zero shits about it. His father who was already disappointed got even more disappointed letting his son know that owning the hotels was the only decency he had left.  There should be some kind of nice feeling knowing the father who constantly put him down was more disappointed, however Adrian could not help, but to feel lost. It was his father after all and he hated fighting. If he hated his father that much he would not come to these events, he would not smile, he would not let him walk over him. They had their nice moments, but they were rare. 

Finally the end of the night was showing and it was time to head out. Adrian knew exactly where , but as he was about to leave his father started another argument with him, this time in front of guests. It left Adrian walking off with a clenched fist trying to hold the anger he already held for so many years inside. Lucky for him he had his savior. A woman who listened to him, who knew that a relationship was not what he wanted, but needed to desperately be taken care of. She calmed him and reminded him to take his feet back on the ground.

The next morning he woke up to his phone buzzing. “It has been doing that all night” - said holding up the sheets over her naked body. Adrian sat up grabbing his phone answering with a groggy voice to his mother sobbing in the phone. “Your father has been murdered.. Where have you been?” He had rushed up, grabbed his clothes and made it to their home, but could barely hug his mother and sister before the police were on him. Of course they would, it was his son, they were last seen fighting and everyone thought Adrian hated his father.  He was getting out in no time, it was going to be easy he believed, but after letting them know his alibi they did not let him go. They were determined that Adrian Calder has indeed murdered his father

Task 02: get to know Adrian some more

Who are/were their parents? (their names, occupations, personalities, etc.) His parents are Anne- Marie Calder and Joseph Calder. They were owners of a big hotel chain in NY. His father Joseph is deceased.  His mother is a friendly woman with  “posh”, she lost a lot of confidence when her husband died. His father was more strict and what Adrian would describe cold. He cared for his kids, but had a hard time not showing it. Especially with Adrian who always tested him as a child and teen. 

Do they have any siblings? What are/were they like? Yes, he has a younger sister named Penelope Calder and a younger brother named Riley Calder.   {will add what they like later}
