genuinely confused how dni has pro-ship and khonshu x moon knight system shippers in it. pro-ship is ship and let sail, shipping what you like, letting others sail past you, which is cool! pinned also says you sometimes have intersystem ships, me too, sometimes with khonshu. i'm not getting why that means i'm not supposed to reblog your posts? i really like moon knight and was excited to see gift exchange but didn't want to cross your boundary by signing up

This is a conversation I don’t really want to delve into outside of personal interactions with friends, but I’ll answer it shortly here just to be clear.

I believe in a nuanced and multifaceted approach to engaging with media, representations, kink content, etc. as it is very complex and so heavily depends on context and circumstance. I’m not proship, and am not comfortable with people that label themselves as such or align hard with the “fiction doesn’t effect reality, nothing matters, etc” mindset. I’m also not a self defined “anti” and believe both “sides” to this discourse take their ideologies on fiction and content to extremes that are at best unhelpful or unaware, and at worst legitimately harmful and/or predatory. That is again a much larger conversation on internet culture and development to delve into that I don’t! Want to do here! Because it often makes me feel unsafe from multiple angles.

That is that section of the DNI, and my personal stuff includes content and ships I am specifically uncomfortable with and would not like to see, hence my line drawn for most depictions of Khonshu x the MK system. I have my own reasons and feelings on that that I could talk about but is, again, a conversation I don’t think would be productive to have publicly where people will take my words in ways I don’t mean. And also it’s not really anyone’s business.

Of course he fucks up his flirting and sits down to sulk with a coffee and a bagel and then this young unsupervised girl just Walks up to his table and sits down. He's confused untill she's asking him to help her with her school work.

Syntax is like "of all the friendly looking people here you sit with me??" Because Syntax is very aware of his piercing and tattoos and the stigmas that come with it and how young girls probably should have a healthy fear of guys like him. But the girl insist he helps her and he relents. He helps her with her shcool work and gets to know her and by the time he's helped her finished her worksheets Bingchun is on break and comes over.

And what do you know! The super attractive guy at the bar is actually the girls dad. So now Syntax in his head is like "fuuuuuck so embarrassing....but this explains why he got hot daddy vibes"

Bingchun thanks Syntax for helping his daughter with her schoolwork and even offers him a free meal for the help.
