speaking of salt one thing that's driven me up the wall is how there's this constant sense of 'youre doing it wrong' with the persona fandom; like, "you didn't put makoto on your party? youre playing the game wrong. You didn't max Marie or Maruki? You're playing the game wrong. you didn't go into the kawakami coop even though you said it's a squick? How can you possibly play the game without the benefits from it?" and like, stop me if I sound overdramatic, but it really has killed the fun of those games for me tbh, and I'm worried about that bleeding over into P6 and even Metaphor

But yeah ew, I don't like the idea of telling someone "you're playing the game wrong" TT0TT There's a fine line between helping/advice and giving an important hint/"I recommend this/this can help you" VS telling someone they're doing something wrong and demand they play a certain way. (one is trying to be helpful the other is being a jackass)

I used Naoto all the time, even in boss fights. IN VANILLA. I was just fine/happy tbh. Was it a bit harder? Eh, I got through just fine. fjkdalsfj;las Play how you want who cares? ;D

#the best team in vanilla was anne ryu mako bc of the synergy between mako and anne and the heavy hitters #that anne and ryu were for magic/phys #but even the battle meta ppl were like 'just use what YOU want. by the end of the game everyone is OP so it doesn't matter anyway'#(I always used anne ryu and mona early game then anne ryu haru late game....#p5R i swap sumi out for either ryu or haru......or go back and forth....usually ryu gets benched until i need him)#silly talks #silly asks #is that the best team? probs not........but I dont care kfdjaslkfjd;alf #naoto is more of a dungeon fighter char than a boss fighter chare #I think most people (/the meta is) kanji yukiko and....yosuke?(if not ted but I think it's yosuke)#but I like naoto so I use naoto and chie and ted/yosuke (depends on the playthrough) so I use them #hell some times I use ken/koro for fun too!
