I have a request of Corey Cunningham (Halloween Ends) where in the scene with the nurse and Doctor the doctor has a daughter (or gender neutral reader) and is really close friends/crush (or they could be dating either or) with Corey. The Reader comes home before Corey and Michael kills the doctor and Nurse because Corey listens to how much the reader dislikes their father and his affairs. So when Corey goes to kill Readers father Reader sees and helps him kill their father. Maybe Michael takes an interest to the reader too.
I Just gotta say that THIS is freaking awesome. So much inspiration hit when I woke up to write this. Anyways.
⚠️ Halloween Ends Spoilers, mentions of blood, gore, murder, and Psychopathic tendencies, Cursing, and mentions of affair, not proofread
Tumblr media
GN! Reader x Corey Cunningham where when Michael and Corey team up to kill the Nurse and Doctor, they end up meeting the reader, the doctor’s child, as they come home from work. With their disgust at their father and his awful affairs, they help Corey and watches with him as Michael kills the nurse. And afterwards, the reader realizes they may also have a taste for the way blood splatters.
Tumblr media
It had been a long day at work. Corey had left you on read, and wasn’t answering your calls and neither was Ms. Strode. It was a bit frustrating when all you wanted was someone to talk to. You hit the break aggressively as you saw your father’s car in the driveway. “Fuck!” You yelled, face flushed red in anger, “Fuck Fuck Fuck!” You hit the wheel over, and over again. This was the last person you needed to see when you got home. And you just new there was a new little slut with him. Why wouldn’t there be? There always was.
you fought back the tears of fury that fought at the bed of your eyes, getting out and slamming the car door shut. You didn’t even bother to lock it as you swung open the door, resisting the urge to throw your shoes across the house as you took them off and placed them by the door. You sighed as you saw heels beside your shoes, a suit jacket splayed over the back of the couch. The shower was running too. What else was new. But you felt uneasy. Something wasn’t right.
you looked around, passing through the kitchen as you grabbed a large knife, wielding it at your side for any… surprises You rolled your eyes as you saw the wine holder, champagne and a bottle of wine missing. You let the knife fall slightly as you walk to the deck outside, grumbling. “Dad! Hello?” You mess with the lights to get them on as you fumble, seeing glass broken on the floor. No doubt he was already drunk.
“Dad! Get your lazy ass-“ you cover your mouth when you turn around. In the light, you saw your father on the floor, bag over his head as someone sat there, stabbing him over and over. You opened your mouth to speak but couldn’t as something drew you closer to the scene.
You reached out your free hand to touch his bagged face. You look over at the man currently stabbing your father to death as he starts to pull off his mask. There, sitting next to you with your dying father in his arms, was your best friend Corey Cunningham. His curly hair stuck close to his forehead with sweat as blood was dried at a cut near his cheekbone.
You didn’t say a word as Corey reached forwards, grabbing your hand that was holding the knife. He spoke low and gravelly as he guided it towards your fathers chest.
“You hate him. That’s why I did this. You hate how he always brings some bitch home. In the bed your mom slept in. Ignores you all day while he fucks some girl your age like a fucking pedo. So help me.”
He says, raising your hand as you feel something rise inside of you, coursing you to look at your father’s face. You scowl, remembering the girls he brings home as you bring your hand down with force, blood splattering over your face as your chest heaves with slow breaths.
Corey stands up to walk behind you, letting go of your hand as angry tears roll down your face. You bring the knife down again and again, hitting his now-still chest as blood spills over the concrete of the poolside. The knife red now instead of it’s once clean, silver steel.
You let the knife drop with a shaky hand as you stand up slowly, processing what you’d just done. You walk back into Corey as he holds his bloody hands at your arms, keeping them still and calm as he looks down at the scene.
“Doesn’t it feel better? He’s gone. He can’t do anything to you anymore. It’s over.”
You sob as you turn, hugging Corey tightly. You can’t tell if they were tears of relief or grief but either way, you knew things weren’t the same anymore. Suddenly, you heard a voice shriek from inside the house as well as the screen door shut and lock. You and Corey’s heads whipped around as your father’s latest little nurse slut screamed in terror at the sight of your father lying dead.
She ran inside and grabbed the phone, dialing the police. She peered around the corner at you and Corey. you looked up to him and wondered why he wasn’t doing anything. But he simply shook his head as if to tell you to wait. And you did. And you were glad you did as the two of you watched none other than Michael Meyers pin the bitch to the painting with a knife, her blood falling down her leg and pooling on the floor beneath her. It struck something with you. Something awful. You loved the blood that dripped down into a puddle. It was refreshing to know that justice had been served. The object of your hate gone. It lifted the weight off your shoulders.
Michael turned around, filling your body with shock and terror. He still scared you a bit after watching your mother’s life leaving her body from the very fear she felt from this man, her neck bruised and cut, her wrists no better.
But, suddenly he wasn’t so threatening as he walked towards you and Corey, sliding the door open, not bothering to unlock it as the lock broke completely. He walked towards Corey specifically as he pointed at you and Corey nodded. As if they were speaking silently, Michael looked at you, then he walked past you, making your body shiver as he picked your bloody knife off the floor and turned, handing it back to you. You took it in your hands and looked at Corey, who smiled and nodded. And you understood. There was no going back now. You had done this and you weren’t sorry.

Donatello x Reader - Rejected
Tumblr media
This was bound to happen at some point, both you and April were extraordinary outliers when it came to accepting he and his brothers. He just never imagined that it would hurt this much. The fact that they'd become so close worsened the blow. The fear on their face was ingrained in Donatello's mind. A haunting memento of the relationship that was no more.
Echoes from their meeting on that fateful night rang in his ears. Once he revealed himself, he knew it was over. The scream, the bitter language, and the slam of the rooftop door. Biting autumn air only brought more of an icy chill to the cold words spoken. Words shouted at him from someone he thought that he loved, and who he thought loved him back.
The brainy turtle was a hopeless romantic to a fault. He truly believed that if he found the right person, they'd be able to look past his mutant exterior, and see the man inside. Corey proved that theory to be horribly false. Feeling betrayed by his optimism, he spiraled into a depression. Sealing himself away in his laboratory, he refused to leave. Days turned to weeks, and those weeks turned into a month. Something had to be done.
Phone lighting up and buzzing, a shaky hand snatched up the phone from where it rested on a nearby nightstand. You were in the middle of a much needed nap, and grumbled as you tapped the screen to investigate the culprit of your rude awakening.
Leo: You need to come to the lair. Now.
You: What's the emergency, Blue?
Leo: It's Donnie. He met with Corey.
That was all the reason that you needed to fly out of your bed, and swiftly wrestle on clothing. Taking the time to gather a few supplies, you stuffed them into your backpack, and ran out the door. Gait wide, you flew out of your apartment building to the nearest manhole cover that you could find. Heart thumping overtime in your chest, it ached for Donatello. His brother didn't need to elaborate for you to know what transpired.
Part of you was angry. Why am I just now finding out about this? I know that I've been busy lately, but they could have let me know! You thought while traveling through the sewers en route to the lair. I guess that doesn't matter at this point, I know now. Don't worry, Donnie, the cheer-up squad is on it's way!
You finally reached your destination and made a beeline for the laboratory. The door was locked, this was expected. With a gentle knock, you called to the nerdy turtle, "Donnie...let me in, we need to talk."
There was silence for several minutes before he finally responded, "No, go away, Y/N!" the hoarseness in his voice made it blatantly obvious that he'd been crying for quite some time.
"Well, I brought a few movies and that fancy popcorn with the chocolate drizzle you like so much. I guess I'll have to just watch the movies and enjoy this delicious popcorn with Mikey instead."
Thundering footsteps could be heard, and not but mere seconds later, the door swung open. He was a wreck, eyes red and puffy, purple mask loosely hanging from his neck. Smudges clouded the lenses of his glasses, evidence of dried tears that he hadn't bothered to wipe away.
A twinkle emerged from his dulled golden eyes, "I-is it the kettle corn with triple chocolate drizzle?" You nodded, and the edges of his mouth turned up in a half smile, "What movies did you bring?"
"Sleepless in Seattle, and...I am just now realizing how terrible of a choice this was, but...The Shape of Water."
With that, his smile broadened as he chuckled. "The second one...it sounds oddly cathartic."
You motioned him to follow you into the den to begin the movie, but he remained in the doorway, mind still restless from things left unsaid. Looking up to see your expectant expression, he released a heavy sigh. And suddenly, as if a switch had been flicked, he began unloading the emotions he'd been keeping bottled up since the incident.
"I should have known better, I knew this would be the outcome! And yet, I went ahead and did it anyway! I guess that's what I get for being optimistic..." His eyes filled his tears, and he hastily wiped them away, "Look at me! I'm a mutant...a monster! What human would ever be interested in me?! I'm so incredibly foolish!" He shouted, burying his face in his hands.
Hand balling into a fist, you couldn't help but be mad at Corey for leaving him this way. But now was not the time for anger, you needed to focus on Donnie. "Wanting love isn't foolish, and you're no monster." You said, gently removing a hand from his face, taking it in yours, and guiding him to the couch.
Donatello glanced down at your small hand fitted comfortably in his large green one. You'd never held his hand before, but then again, you were only trying to get him from point A to point B. He tried not to read too much into it.
Meanwhile, your thoughts were a mess. The feelings that you held for him were internalized, you told yourself  that he had someone else, and it just wasn't meant to be...but with this new development, all of those feelings resurfaced, whether your were willing to acknowledge them or not.
Sitting side-by-side on the couch, the movie began. At first, there was a small amount of space between your bodies, but it was soon closed by you. When you reached for popcorn, you inched closer, instinctively fulfilling your unconscious desire to be near to him.
Your head found it's way onto his arm, and before he knew it, your arms were linked. All the while, you were unaware of how intimate you were becoming, too engrossed in the movie to notice. He didn't know what to make of this sudden close encounter. The two of you had watched movies together with his brothers hundreds of times, but never alone together...Not like this.
The terrapin fidgeted nervously, it's not that he didn't enjoy the physical contact, quite the contrary. He found the sudden display of affection to be much needed after what'd happened with Corey. He simply wasn't sure what to do.
Should I reciprocate? Is this all just their way of comforting me as a friend or is this something more?
The terrapin was so preoccupied by his own thoughts that he was no longer paying attention to the movie. When an intimate scene occurred between the main character and the sea creature, he could feel your heartbeat quicken as you gripped him tighter. Suddenly, all of the puzzle pieces came together, and Donatello's eyes grew wide with realization. Meanwhile, you were too absorbed in the movie to realize how telling your actions were.
Do they...?
He quickly struck that insane notion from his mind, chalking it up to to overthinking. Moments later, soft fingers idly traced up and down his bicep. Chills ran through him as he desperately fought back the desire welling inside. Once movie ended, in the heat of the moment, his hand met your cheek and he impulsively pressed his lips to yours. It didn't take him long to snap back to reality and pull away.
"Oh no, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! The movie, and the touching...I-I'm just really emotional right now...I am truly sorry." Shooting up from the couch, the purple-clad turtle began pacing back an forth. After a while, he soon fell silent, anxiously awaiting a response.
Too stunned to move, you remained seated. Your fingertips gently touched your lips, the phantom feeling of his still lingering on them. "Donnie..." The very utterance of his own name caused him to flinch, and the pacing ceased. You beckoned for him to return and sit on the couch. Hesitantly taking your cue, he settled down and waited for the rejection, just like what happened with Corey. Instead, you threw your arms around his neck in a hug.
"Y/N...just say it...You don't want to be with a mutant freak like me either, do you?" He choked on his own words as he fought back the renewed flood of tears.
"Stop saying that! You're not a freak, you're amazing, and..." unable to find words, you instead grabbed onto his suspenders, and showed him. Lips reunited, he jerked in surprise for only a moment before submitting to the kiss.
"Y-Y/N...I had no idea..."
"Neither did I."

25 Things We Learned from the ‘Kong: Skull Island’ Commentary
by Rob Hunter | July 26, 2017 | Commentary
“This whole movie is basically just my huge, expensive infomercial for why people should go visit Vietnam.”
Warner Bros.’ giant monsterverse is two films in so far, and the visible improvement from Godzilla to Kong: Skull Island bodes well for whatever comes next. The latter film understands that the big draw here are the big monsters, and it delivers an abundance of big monster action. The film was recently released on Blu-ray/DVD, and in addition to numerous featurettes and deleted scenes the supplements include a director’s commentary.
Commentator: Jordan Vogt-Roberts (director)
1. The opening title sequence featuring WB and Legendary logos was originally meant to feature “throwbacks to 70s vector-based and illustrated company logos,” but not only could they not get them right but the companies were also “very protective of their logos.”
2. The American pilot falling out of the sun is meant to suggest Icarus, a world of myths, and the loss of mankind’s connection to them.
3. The opening on the beach is tonally inspired by the likes of The Good the Bad the Weird, and he adds that “I love the idea of this crazy David Lean movie.”
4. The title credits are done by Kyle Cooper who also did David Fincher’s Seven.
5. The image that Bill Randa (John Goodman) hands Senator Willis (Richard Jenkins) was originally of Godzilla, but he fought against that as he felt the film needed to be about Kong from the beginning.
6. Jenkins, Corey Hawkins, Toby Kebbell, and John Dykstra are all “the man.”
7. Three of his Kings of Summer stars — Nick Robinson, Erin Moriarty, and Moises Arias — appear in the background at the 12:10 mark. It was the last day of filming, and he flew them out to Hawaii for the cameo.
8. Thomas Middleditch is the voice on the phone with Brie Larson.
9. The ship named Athena is his “dumb, unnecessary” nod to Alien via the lettering font. It’s the first of several “dorky” nods in the film, and he promises to point some out while leaving others for the viewers to find.
10. Chuck Jones’ “Now Hear This” is playing in the background of the briefing scene. He’s always loved it and took advantage of this being a WB film to toss it into the movie.
11. Video games mentioned as inspirations include Shadow of Colossus, Metal Gear Solid, Journey, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid, and Call of Duty.
12. He had dinner with Park Chan-wook, and the main question the Korean director had about the film had to do with how believable the flight-deck crew were on the ship.
13. Vietnam is one of his favorite countries, and he hopes the film encourages people to visit similar to how the Lord of the Rings films increased tourism to Middle Earth.
14. The helicopter occupant falling into Kong’s mouth is an homage to the 1933 film version where Kong actually ate people.
15. It was a massive undertaking to attain permission and arrange filming in Vietnam. He says this was the first American film to shoot there since 2002’s The Quiet American.
16. Directors mentioned as inspirations include Terrence Malick, Steven Spielberg, and Hayao Miyazaki.
17. Kebbell’s facial motion-capture work includes the scene where Kong munches on the squid — which yes, is obviously an Old Boy reference — and for the shot he was actually chewing Red Vines.
18. Hank Marlow’s (John C. Reilly) jacket says “Lizard Company” on it which is a nod of sorts to Travis Bickle’s jacket in Taxi Driver saying “King Kong Company.”
19. The script originally included a section where they find a “boat city” which was a steampunk-like village consisting of people who’ve washed up or capsized on the island.
20. The writing atop the record player is a design nod to the serial number and writing on the box holding the Ark of the Covenant at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
21. The montage showing the boat head off down the river away from the village was originally longer and set to Cat Stevens’ “Wild World.”
22. One of his main goals with the film was to create images we’ve never seen before… like a .50 caliber machine gun mounted atop a triceratops skull or Tom Hiddleston slicing prehistoric flying creatures with a katana while running through a poison cloud in a gas mask.
23. The scene where Kong approaches James Conrad (Hiddleston) and Mason Weaver (Larson) at night in the fog and has glowing eyes lead to some behind the scenes disagreements. “Somebody actually quit production over this, ‘I don’t understand it! It just doesn’t make sense to me!'”
24. He says Vietnam is ready for their version of The Raid, suggesting their film industry is growing and ready to bust out, but he’s discounting the political climate. The filmmakers behind the excellent Clash followed it up with another action film called Chinatown which was immediately banned by authorities from being shown anywhere inside or out of the country without severe consequences.
25. The post-credits scene almost didn’t make the cut as several voices felt it didn’t fit, but he argued successfully for its inclusion knowing that audiences would love the tease into the bigger monsterverse to come.
Best in Context-Free Commentary
“I love the Peanuts and Snoopy.”
“The stuff these guys do in helicopters is insane.”
“This is one of my favorite shots in the movie as it turns into a very anime like Evangelion you know long lens like several layers of parallax as you’re running by shot.”
“I love the idea of them kind of being the crackheads of the island.”
“Brie runs like a movie star.”
“That moon should not be that big, but why not.”
“Sometimes you gotta change stuff to avoid vomit.”
Final Thoughts
As flawed as the script may be there’s no denying the appeal of the imagery throughout Kong: Skull Island. It’s a visually exciting movie, and Vogt-Roberts splits his enthusiasm evenly between what we’re seeing onscreen and the people involved. He loves his cast and crew, and he’s complimentary towards them all — with the exception of Samuel L. Jackson whom he only mentions briefly a couple times before his character dies. He’s also not shy about sharing his pop culture interests from video games to anime to Asian cinema, and if you take nothing else from his numerous references know this… he *loves* Evangelion. It’s a solid track with minimal silence, and he shares a lot of information regarding the production choices making for an interesting and engaging listen.
