honestly, thinking about how silly halloween is, that’s prolly why i like resurrection. it’s just a silly movie with a timeless message to it. Sure you can debate whether it’s portrayal of Laurie vs Michael is respectful for either character, but I feel like it was very much ahead of it’s time for deciding to focus on something that didn’t have to do with Laurie.
