one of these days i am going to truly and really have a bitch explosion ab how the conversation around cultural appropriation has been basically fucking stolen from black and indigenous communities.
#thats not to say other cultures cant be appropriated obviously thats not what im fucking saying#but its. frustrating. to see people talk ab cultual appropriation as if its about clothes or food.#like. the conversation around it began in black and indigenous communties about white people PROFITING off of our practices#or misrepresenting or misconstruing then#i dont give a fuck if someone wants to cook foods for themself i legit really dont bc theyre doing it for themself bc theyre interested#i do not give a shit. what i DO give a shit about is the way blackccents are stolen and appropriated#the way native practies are considered homeopathy or alt medicine#the way our spirituality has been bastardized#i mean fuck#w*ndigocore is a thing now isnt it#thats what i fucking mean thats like. idek. theres no real comparison.
