I have. also. read a lot of fanfiction this year. and some of it has been truly transcendently good. so, mutuals, knitting circle, beloveds: reblog and tag with the best fanfiction you’ve read so far this year.
#mine are!#the cor et cerebrum series by audreycritter#which is the batfam fic with the best emotional catharsis and the best characterization and made me cry a lot a lot a lot#every moment of every day I am fighting the impulse to read it a third time in about as many months#the under the bed series by thosefivechicks#which is the vampire au (!!!!!!) batfam fic with just GLORIOUSLY perfect angst and also perfect characterization#and did I fuckin mention the vampires#and:#the Figurehead by thelonelybrilliance#she’s always the best but damn this fic is so good#fics are often very limited and small and I love that about them#but the figurehead is VAST and it is handling stranger things’ massive cast and many emotional journeys#better than any full cast story I have ever seen or read#also emma if you want to write three dozen stories wherein nancy tends to steve’s s4 wounds I will read every single one#(if this post becomes another semi-viral malady I will promptly cry about it)#(but mutuals knitting circle beloveds I do really want to know)
