also honestly whole post is kind of not relevant to scotland right now anyway which makes the "young scot card" comment so utterly fucking bizarre????? the may elections are england and wales only. it's not a general election?! and for the equivalent scottish parliament elections (not being held in may, dw) you don't need ID to vote anyway. by the way.

#it's a westminster rule and as far as the residents of scotland go it only applies to general elections #and the GE HASN'T BEEN ANNOUNCED YET #so like. it's far from too late to get your entirely free card literally everyone is entitled to if they ask #the NEC doubles up as a library card too if you were wondering
