I have a lot of sympathy for the fans who went through the chaos of the CL final in Paris but also, on the other hand, I am cackling maniacally watching the violence and incompetency of the french police forces revealed to the world

#back in 2016 for the Euro it was already clear that football authorities and the police had no idea how to handle supporters #then came the big protests in France with always one strategy : random violence and intimidation #this chaos is years in the making and I doubt there's anyone in power actually competent to put another strategy in place #the Olympic games and the rugby world cup are coming up and France just doesn't seem capable of organizing them efficiently #it's tragic and it's just an aspect of the general sinking of french public services but boy is it fun to watch it exposed to the world
