Random funny thing I can't believe I forgot to mention:

When I was little (like, five years old), I used to have a recurring nightmare, in which I was chased around my elementary school by little ghosts that wielded giant mallets. They would chase me for the entire dream, but never succeed in smashing me, and I'd defeat them by opening curtains and letting in sunlight to evapourate them.

So now, like, skip ahead several billion years until when "Miitopia" released, and I'm just playing through the game, then I see THESE stupid things:

I may have discovered that I like taking pictures in “Tomodachi Life”.

A tonne of pictures from both "Miitopia" and "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" that have been gathering up for way too long. Many nutty things happen. As usual.

I imagine this "Miitopia" to fit inbetween my versions of "Tomodachi Life" and "Animal Crossing: New Leaf". Like so.

After the aliens come and burn Froot Island ("Tomodachi Life") to the ground and V-chan, K-chan, E-chan, and F-chan escape on the life boat, I imagine that Vaati and a few others managed to get to another boat in time. And this is were "Miitopia" now comes in.

Instead of immediately shipwrecking on Froot Village ("Animal Crossing: New Leaf"), V-chan is kidnapped by... I have no idea who, honestly... And gets brainwashed into becoming the Dark Lord. Vaati, who rounded up a team of other Froot Island residents, which are, but not limited to, Green, Blue, Red, Vio, Shadow, K-chan, E-chan, F-chan, and Moemura (and quite possibly Vriska, Zelda, and Hilda), manages to fight off Dark Lord V-chan.

For now.

Let's see what the rest of the game has in store for us. Because V-chan, K-chan, E-chan, and F-chan (and F-chan's radio, Roger) all have to make it to Froot Village in "ACNL" eventually.

We can't all be trapped in Froot Topia forever, now can we?

Theory: The Approximate Lyrics to the Great Sage’s Theme in “Miitopia”

Okay, so I'm a huge fan of "Miitopia". And people swore up and down that the Great Sage's Theme had actual lyrics, but nobody could ever make them out. I've heard some Japanese fans claimed that the song was about how the Great Sage would defeat the Dark Lord, but as far as I can tell, that was never confirmed. Others just said it was complete gibberish, or "Mii-ese", and that it had no meaning. But, how accurate is that?

So, going off of that "theory" of it actually having a meaning, I tried to decipher as much of the song as I could, and... Well, everybody's kind of half-right. As far as I can decipher it, it's based off of Japanese, but there's no logical grammatical structure, and the words have to be taken in a non-directly-translated way (if that makes any sense). I tried to decipher it based off of the claims that it was about the Great Sage and the Dark Lord, so...

Here are the lyrics, as far as I can tell:

"Ah, trés bien, lesson go Eruda na haato Erabu e maru wa Taiou wa shitsuke mashite Dai-Kenja no kuni saisho e Lalu rai rai rai rai ra Lalu rai rai rai luya Lalu rai rai rai rai ra Lalu rai rai rai luya Eijuu-sha kougeki ne haato Yahan eien de Omo Eijuu-sha kougeki ne haato Yahan eien de Omo"

Which, translated as much as this can be translated, the lyrics are:

"Ah, very good, lesson go/start An Elder's heart Chooses the circle/path With consistent discipline The Great Sage's country is/comes first Lalu rai rai rai rai ra Lalu rai rai rai luya Lalu rai rai rai rai ra Lalu rai rai rai luya It is attacking the citizens's hearts The eternal midnight of the (Dark) Lord It is attacking the citizens's hearts The eternal midnight of the (Dark) Lord"

Now, here's all my reasoning behind why I came to the above conclusions for the lyrics: The first line, which is half French, half English, can represent how the Great Sage was said to be a "traveling sage" (and in fact, I think the official name of the theme IS "Traveling Sage", if I recall correctly). Then, going along with the idea that a "Sage" is usually a wise, old person, the song goes on to mention the "Elder's" heart (in the manner of "spirit"/"energy"/"determination") in particular. (The Great Sage is known as the “Dai-Kenja” in Japanese, which still means “Great Sage”.) It's this "heart" that chooses the circle/path, which in the Great Sage's case, is the "path" of good. A Sage, to be a mentor to you/the protagonist, has to have consistent discipline; not only to be a good role model, but to have the "air" of wisdom. Okay, the next line might be a pun. First, the Great Sage's country comes "first", because it's the CURRENT country the Great Sage is in that he/she has to protect, so that's why it comes first. But, alternatively, Greenhorne was called "Saisho no Kuni" ("First Land") in Japanese, so maybe it's a pun referring back to how you meet the Great Sage in Greenhorne? Then, there's weird "lalala" part, which could be some sort of magic spell, similar to the nonsensical "Cure Up, Rapapa" from "Mahou Tsukai PreCure". The thing that threatens the "heart"/vitality/spirit of the citizens (of any of the areas in the game), is of course, the "eternal midnight" of the Dark Lord (who was called the "Akuma no Omo", or "Demon Lord", in Japanese). The "eternal midnight" refers to fate of having your face taken away forever (if the Dark Lord is never stopped). And finally, the previous two lines repeat themselves, probably to emphasise the extremity of what could happen to the player.

So, yeah. I have no idea how accurate those lyrics actually are, but I tried my best.

HOLY SHIT I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT

So, we approached Dark Lord V-chan... Vaati and Green got their faces stolen almost immediately (but got them back). V-chan stopped being possessed by a will-o-wisp...

Great Sage Moemura came to congratulate us... ...And got possessed herself whilst trying to protect Vaati from having the same done to him! So now, we are stuck with Darker Lord Moemura and a completely normal V-chan running around somewhere.

What the hell is with this game and Mood Whiplashes?!

But, nevertheless, we get a living mode of transportation out of Dominic, F-chan gets sick three times in a row (second and third times I cut for space), Vaati and Green become OTP confirmed, we land in another area to help Bill Nye the Science Guy get a hamburger, and we are currently stuck out in the snow helping Winnie the Pooh vanquish a monster. What is even this game?

Vaati: "NOT AGAIN!"

So... Vio, Shadow, and Zelda get absconded the heck away by V-chan... ...And are deposited in the same void that she left Green, Blue, and Red in.

Vaati, is stripped of what little powers he had in his Minish form and is forced to rely on science. Moemura tries her best to help. K-chan and E-chan arrive to help save the fairies... (or, technically, wouldn't they be Minish? I want the fairies to be Minish...) Cure Twinkle helps out to rescue one of the Fairy Trio, and Cure Mermaid takes Twinkle's place once F-chan never shows up since we still have to rescue Cure Flora. For now.

Hopefully, F-chan arrives in the near future...

“Miitopia” is such a cute and fun game. I would recommend it to everyone. Vaati, Green, Red, and Blue are getting along so well it's a dream come true! I love this game!

"MIITOPIA" WILL RIP YOUR HEART OUT, STOMP ON ITS REMAINS, AND EAT IT RAW WHILE LAUGHING AT YOUR MISFORTUNE.

Green, Blue, and Red got kidnapped by V-chan. Vaati got stripped of his powers (which seems to be this game's equivalent of reverting him back into a freaking Minish). And what's worse is that Vaati and Blue had just had a mini-fight (over a ghost story that Vaati had told) and now that Blue's been kidnapped, Vaati has no opportunity to reconcile with him!!! And Vaati and Green had a Level 15 Relationship!!! Why?!?! And what's worse is that Dark Lord V-chan is ME! I set myself up for my own misery without knowing!

I have no idea whether I should laugh or cry!

Miscellaneous "ACNL" pictures, in which Jack pays an unexpected non-Halloween visit, the villagers remain as oblivious as ever, and another year passes...

I, the Mayor, start suspecting Jack to have something to do with the events of "Miitopia"... Will the memories ever resurface...? K-chan, E-chan, and F-chan (and Roger the Radio) all chill out off-screen... This'll never end...

Okay, here are some “Tomodachi Life” and “Animal Crossing: New Leaf” pictures that I put together. Let me explain why.

Since I named both of the in-game locations after the same Marina and the Diamonds song, I've always imagined that my versions of "Tomodachi" and "ACNL" all took place in the same universe under a specific timeline.

In "Tomodachi Life", Froot Island gets inhabited by 100 residents. V-chan/Valerie is the Island Leader Look-a-Like. After some aliens invade Froot Island and set it on fire, V-chan takes K-chan/The Glitch, E-chan/The Eyes, and F-chan/The Fortune (and F-chan's radio, Roger) and together, they all flee on a lifeboat. They get into a storm at one point and shipwreck. V-chan gets rescued by the Minish and is set up to become Mayor Valerie of Froot Village in "Animal Crossing: New Leaf". One by one, K-chan, E-chan, and F-chan (with Roger) crawl in, and become a dentist hellbent on murdering everybody (K-chan), a Peacekeeper that turns into a Peacebreaker (E-chan), and an Oracle that turns into a recluse and has arguments with a radio that may or may not be alive (F-chan). After being reunited in Froot Village in "ACNL", everything resumes in peace until the Mayor goes insane with slight survivor’s guilt and gets executed on a specific hill in Froot Village. Oops.

But now, there's a new game that I shall cram into my Timeline, right inbetween Froot Island and Froot Village. And that is "Miitopia".

I WAS RIGHT. I WAS RIGHT. F-chan had BARELY just showed up, and she's already been kidnapped! F-chan, you can see into the future! How did you NOT warn everybody?! So, Vaati gets help from Moemura again and manages to, at some point, to break the seal on his powers completely and resumes his role as the Mage of Winds. Also, Moemura casually makes a reference to "Madoka Magica" without batting an eyelash. Then, Moemura leaves after a few team members are rescued.

But, we do manage to rescue Zelda, Red, F-chan, Shadow, Blue, and E-chan. All that's missing are K-chan, Vio, and- of course- Green...
