can i convince you to rant about german reunification. feel free to ignore

mostly this is just me using hyperbole and being very, very angry about the policies of Olaf Scholz and Angela Merkel. from what I've seen, the German people themselves and much of the government is actually reasonably invested in ideas like 'how about we not financially and tacitly support another Holocaust' and 'hey maybe selling the shipping/energy infrastructure of our country to a hostile power and gutting our means of self-defense (and of our allies' defense) at the same time is a bad thing to do' or 'wow can we please stop repeatedly antagonizing the French, British, and Americans in favor of fascist countries Russia and China?'

I'm very angry but I'm also very confused. how has this been tolerated. just eat him. fucking eat Olaf Scholz.
