I’m worried abt Shadowhunters. It’s been so quiet n with such a long hiatus, fans might lose interest. I’m dying for content. It feels like w/o Harry, everything’s just under wraps. But he’s not as active n has other projects n the rest of the cast almost stay away from social media. Fandom finds drama weekly n don’t participate in promoting SH but the promo team doesn’t seem to do it either. There’s only Matt n Isaiah left for Tuesday takeovers n is it going to be silence again? : (

God, I know, Anon. My dash is so fucking dead and all is so damn quiet, I hate it. The only one who is slightly delivering is Harry and even he is not going rogue as usual. Ugh!

But the thing is, while we are all starved and thirsty for new content, and April is definitely too far away, I think the main problem here is, realistically speaking, that they all fed us so well in the past. Like, there was always some new content with the takeovers or Todd going wild on twitter and all that jazz. While I, personally, appreciated that, there was a point where it was just too much and they spilled it all. So I get that they are trying to keep this season under wraps before we all figure it out. Even though my inner fangirl is ugly sobbing because... “GIVE ME SOME NEW CONTENT GODDAMMIT!”

That being said, let’s not forget that when you look at other shows they barely give away anything for the new seasons. Most shows end in May and return in September/October. So that makes ~4-5 months hiatus. That’s usual. And the fans from those shows aren’t treated as well as we did in the past. Yes, we have to wait for 8 fucking months, I know, but I am just saying, we are too spoiled. And that’s why this hiatus is now hell again. Because lbr, we pretty much know nothing!

Though, while I hate this hiatus now so damn much and wish for April to be here like yesterday, I personally think the worst part rn is not the waiting that is killing me. It’s the fucking tweets from writers over at twitter with tweets like “oh we are shooting a scene that is so emotional. sorry, can’t tell. but it is great. spoiler spoiler spoiler.” Not to be whiny here but... can you just fucking shut up??? That’s not even a teaser so why are you like this? How about you keep quiet? Because I, at least, am at a point where I am so damn annoyed with them constantly bragging about it. Because what are you trying to tell me? That I have to wait till fucking April? I know that, thank you. So I rather wait for another 5 months without this BS, than you being all “oh look at me look at me, I know more than you do” thank you very much. 😩😩😩
