I'm in academia, both as a student and actually working for uni and my department, so of course I'll be the first one telling you it's not worth it and you shouldn't be putting yourself through it if it's not for you, really, just fuck it

#i swear to god im starting to look like cruela de vill #and the uncle from Adams family #my hair is going more white every week that gandalf would be actually jealous #the circles under my eyes so dark and deep that mariana trench is basically a beach compared to them #jesus i don't remember the last time i went to sleep without crying #and of course they are texting me about work right now #after 9pm and everything is urgent #and the emails are pilling up too #and im teaching 3 different classes tomorrow for both undergrads and grads #this is what happens when you dont plan anything cause you dont count on your existence after 16bday #and the fact that i cant say no #okay gonna go to my scheduled crying session #if you dont see me posting for next few days you know why
