#the cursive letter f is so cathartic to write

One time for a history assignment, we had to write a personal ‘declaration of independence’ from whatever we felt like we needed to be independent from. School, work, parents, etc.

On that assignment, it was explicitly stated that (since my teacher is amazing) if we made out project look like the actually declaration of independence (coffee/tea stains, burned edges, cursive writing, etc), he’d give us extra credit.

so I, very much wanting that extra credit, looked up a picture of the original Declaration of Independence and- *gasp* what’s this? All the Ss are written like cursive Fs?

Confused, I turned to google. Apparently, they used to write the cursive, lowercase ‘s’ like a cursive, lowercase ‘f’.

it took way, way longer than it should’ve, I messed up the formatting and spacing, and made way too many spelling errors to count, but eventually, I did it.

I made every single letter s on that page into a letter f

Because if fucking hate cursive letter s

and I fucking love cursive letter f
