#zolu #alabasta was THE awakening for zoro imo #the desert gave him too much time to ponder. his brain was working overtime w no meditation/nap breaks or working out #and he was faced with a lot of luffy's cons. getting lost getting into trouble hyper. but at the end of it he was also faced with the pros #why he cares for luffy so much. why he'll continue to follow him. why he'd do close to anything for him.#he told chopper; luffy gave me another goal #and I think that was as close as an admission to his feelings as he could get in that instance #and after he came to terms with it all he couldn't help thinking -- yah he's an idiot but he's MY idiot
