Birds were happily chirping but the sound of thirteen voices boomed throughout the whole building. The room was pretty chaotic - clothes were tossed around, bread crumbs was almost everywhere and the sight of thirteen men scrambling throughout the rooms of their dorm was really a sight to see for someone like you.

“Guys, have you seen [y/n]?!”

“NO... OH MY GOOOOOOD [Y/N]! ARE YOU UNDER HERE?!”

“Seungkwan, why would [y/n] be under the pile of our stinky laundry?”

“Well, I don’t know but... WHERE IS [Y/N]?!”

“Hyungs, can you please hurry up? I have to go somewhere with [y/n] without you guys hogging over her.”

“WHAT WAS THAT LEE CHAN?” -everyone

It was definitely a sight to see. You casually just sat down on their couch as you continued to watch them search for you, not until Wonwoo decided to sit beside you and watch with a knowing smile on his face. “They haven’t seen you?”

“Nope and I’ve been sitting here for the past twenty minutes. Shall we watch them until they finally notice?” 

Wonwoo didn’t think twice but to accept your offer. The two of you sat there with legs and arms crossed, eyes totally engrossed at each members actions, only to burst out laughing when they finally noticed the two of you.

“You were here the whole time, Jasmine?!” Seungkwan, yet again, beamed as he cupped your cheeks and acted like he was your mother. “Oh Jasmine, you naughty little girl. You almost got me into a heart attack!” 

Rolling your eyes at how overly dramatic Seungkwan was, you flashed him a faint smile before tapping him on the cheeks. “I was sitting here for the past twenty minutes. Minghao even walked past me without even noticing me after meeting my gaze!” 

It only took everyone a second before they transferred their attention to Minghao, who was shrugging at them before explaining himself, “Just so you know, I was caught up with the fact of looking for [y/n] and...”

“And?” Mingyu retorted with a smug look on his face, making you snicker at the sight of the two almost reaching the bickering stage. And soon enough, everyone was erupting into some nonsense that had you to just sigh and remember why you were there in the first place. 

“Oh, Channie, are you ready?” You blurted out without much thought, stopping everyone from bickering as they looked at Chan then back to you then back to Chan then back to you. “O-oh, yeah! Let me go get my bag.”

“Where are you guys going?” asks Seungcheol as he walks towards you with a confused expression. Well, everyone had confusion written all over their faces. “We’re going to the amusement park.” And then there goes everyone erupting to a whine.

“You guys are going to the amusement park?! Just the two of you?!” -Seokmin

“Soonyoung wants to go! [y/n] can I go with you guys?!” -Soonyoung

“You’re not the only one who wants to go Soonyoung hyung!! All of us wants to go!” -Mingyu

“Can’t we just go with them?” -Jeonghan

“Nope, you guys can’t come with us.” Chan announces as soon as he entered the room with nothing but blankness in his face. He only had two tickets to the amusement park and if he was to choose one of his hyungs, he’d rather choose you. 

It was just a simple catching up session with Chan the other day when he brought up the topic of going to the amusement park together, which you immediately made plans with him. Well, you couldn’t deny the fact that you love it when the two of you spend time together and... maybe the fact that you like him.

“Why?” Junhui asks with eyebrows furrowed at the youngest. “Because we only have two tickets? And, c’mon guys, you went to the amusement park last week without telling me!!” Chan whined with a pout, only to make the members coo at how cute he was.

It sure was fun to spend time with the boys, especially when it gets pretty rowdy at some point. Lifting yourself off the couch, you waltz your way beside Chan and said, “I think we better get going Oppas so that we can have the amusement park all to ourselves the whole day.”

“Wait... it’s just the two of you?” Vernon asks with his eyes narrowed at the two of you. Now, all of their eyes were focused on the two of you. The atmosphere somewhat turned from a whiny atmosphere to a teasing one. Some of them had their eyebrows wiggling at the two of you (hoshi, seokmin, mingyu and jun) and some were gawking at the two of you.

“Is my baby all grown up now?” Jeonghan cried out as he wrapped his arms around Chan’s neck whilst caressing his cheeks. “I also want to go on a date with [y/n].” Seungkwan pouted, only to receive a laugh and smack from Joshua.

“Oh, c’mon, we all can have turns in going somewhere with our [y/n].” Jihoon shrugged, making everyone shut their mouths and nod. “Wait, we’re going on a date?” you absently asked as you looked at Chan, who was now flushed by the sudden question.

“I guess so?” Chan answered, not sure whether he’s choosing the right words. Scoffing at how innocent their youngest is, Joshua wraps an arm on both your shoulders. 

“You guys sure are too young to understand such world.... It definitely is a date.”

The heat waves came rushing in as the two of you got out of the car, after being dropped off by Chan’s manager. People from all ages were going in and out of the amusement park with smiles plastered on their faces as they’ve enjoyed every single ride there is. As the two of you approached the entrance, the shuddering of rails and tracks, clanking of rides moving, and the screams of their passengers as they are whipped around were heard from where you were standing. 

Handing your tickets to the employee, who was in-charge with the tickets, the two of you swiftly went in without any problem. The two of you were greeted by the sight of bright happy colors, from the light poles to the benches to the walls of the shops to the t-shirts of the employees who look like this might not actually be the happiest place on Earth.

“What do you want to do first, [y/n]?” Chan asked with his eyes twinkling at the sight of the rides and snacks that he liked. “Do you want to go grab some fried squid over there?” By the minute you stepped foot of the amusement park, the stall selling fried squid was the first thing that has caught your attention.

Chan’s eyes wandered around until it landed on the stall that you were talking about. Nodding his head in enthusiasm, he didn’t think twice but to grab your hand and drag you there in such hurry.

The stall wasn’t that packed at the moment so the two of you were able to order two fried squids without much haste. The process of making the fried squid unfolds right before the two you. 

Oil being heated up crackled as soon as the battered squid was dipped right in, only to be followed by another one. The smell of savory squid filled each and everyone’s nostrils, making the two of you salivate at the sight of the fried squid being handed to the both of you.

“You may choose your choice of sauce over there,” the employee beams and gestures over to the other table with a couple of jars filled with different sauces. Waltzing your way to the sauces, you drizzled a good amount of spicy sauce on your fried squid and on Chan’s. 

Taking a bite on his fried squid, Chan looks at you and asks, not noticing the sauce on the corner of his lips, “So, munch munch, which ride should we do first?” You pondered upon the question while you grabbed some tissue from your bag, wiping the sauce off of Chan’s lips, only to result in his cheeks turning into a darker shade of pink.

“How about let’s look around first then if we find something that has our palms itching then we’ll make that ride as the first ride of the day?”

Liking your idea, Chan gives it a thumbs up and the two of you are finally off to explore. There were tons of thrill rides but there were also booths that offered a lot of prizes that were worth bringing home.

A lot of the stores sold those typical animal ears and those mickey-mouse ears that had a lot of couples buying it. Eyes wandering at each ride, there was one ride had you and Chan stop in an instant.

Shrieks were heard and you could just imagine yourself being seated at such contraption with Chan sitting beside you, laughing his heart or probably screaming his lungs out. 

Right before the two of you was the Gyro Swing. It felt really weird as it had both of your hands itching to get your butts down to the seats and enjoy it. “I want to ride that.” Chan beamed without ripping his eyes off the swinging contraption.

“Me too.” 

Turning both your heads, a knowing smile was plastered on both of your faces and before you knew it, the two of you are bouncing on your seats as the harness was safely, and tightly secured on the two of you. Both of your hearts raced in excitement and the only thing that was buzzing around Chan’s head was having you to hold his hand.

And at some point, his prayers was heard when you asked him, “Do you want to hold hands for support? Man, just thinking about the ride starting got me trapped in a jar filled with uneasiness--” Before you could even finish what you were saying, the Gyro Swing has finally moved, making Chan take a hold of your hand when you let out a squeak.

“It’s starting-- it’s starting!” you blabbered, your grip slowly tightens around his hand as the sight of the land was slowly getting farther and farther away from you.

Once it reached the highest point, the Gyro Swing starts to swing downwards, making you scream your lungs out with Chan, but his screams were then replaced by a fruit laugh as he tightly holds onto your hands to give you some support.

The ride felt like an hour but in reality, it was just a couple of minutes long. You wobbly got of off the ride with Chan still holding your hand. “Aigoo, [y/n], your jelly legs are gonna give out soon. Do you want me to give you a piggyback ride?”

“Yes, please.” 

That was the only reply that Chan needed to hear. Being hoisted up on his back, you couldn’t help but lean your cheeks on his shoulder, mumbling incoherent words as you were still having a hangover of the ride. 

The Gyro Swing was the first and last ride for the two of you as both of you decided to just hit it with the stalls and win tons of prizes, which was easy for the two of you.

Balloons popped for the nth time and you were handed a big panda plushie which Chan pout. “I also want to win one.” He mumbled, making you offer the plushie to him with a smile. “Here, you can have this one.”

“No, I can’t--”

“Oh, c’mon, I have a lot of plushies with me now so you can have this one to commemorate our first date!” 

Heaving out a sigh of defeat, Chan accepted your offer and tightly hugged the panda plushie, making you pull your phone out to take a couple of pictures of him before sending it to the group chat that you have with the boys.

“Let’s go buy some of those headbands and get on one of those photo booths, [y/n].” Chan nudges, making you look at him and nod. The two of you waltz your way across the open space and immediately got into the nearest stall.

The store was filled with pastel colored accessories and stuffed toys. Running your fingers through the products, you immediately stopped and grabbed a pair of cat ears, you quickly wore it on Chan’s head and giggled.

“Oh? Cat ears?” Chan asks as he pats the headband with his free hand. “Yeah! It really suits you.” 

Humming out a loud ‘mm’, Chan grabbed the nearest cat ears and wore it on you, making you look at him with a pout. “Cat ears?”

“Yeah, it also suits you.” 

Feeling a buzz on his pocket, Chan pulls his phone out and sees that his manager was already waiting for the two of them outside the amusement park. “C’mon, let’s pay for this and have out photo taken!” Paying for both your headbands, that two of you quickly dashed towards the nearest photo booth and immediately picked the cutest feature that it offered.

Chan had his arm around your shoulder as the two of you made the V sign and immediately changed poses.

The two of you were up on the camera, totally hogging it with big goofy grins on your faces.

Last click!

You placed a quick kiss on Chan’s cheeks, making him widen his eyes just on time for the camera to capture everything. 

Turning his head towards your directions, Chan couldn’t help but stammer, “Y-you... kissed me.” Ignoring his remark, you quickly edited the photo and doodled a couple of cute things before writing a ‘Lee Chan x [y/n]’.

“Channie, we don’t have all day! Stop looking at me like that and let’s make a dash for the exit.” You muttered as you grabbed the freshly printed picture from the photo booth and made a dash, making Chan snap out from his own train of thoughts and ran.

The sound of your giggles filled the air and Chan couldn’t help but smile. Quickly catching up to your pace, Chan grabbed your wrists and made the two of you walk when he sighted the exit from a distance.

“Channie, manager oppa’s already waiting--”

“YAH LEE CHAN! STOP HOGGING [Y/N] AND GIVE HER TO US!!” -Soonyoung

“Omo, omo! Look at his hand!” -Seungkwan

“LEE CHAN, YOU’RE STILL MY BABY!!!”

“Guys, people are staring so... how about you guys shut up?” -Jihoon

“NOO! I SHALL NOT BE SILENCED--” -Soonyoung

“Man, the hyungs surely knows when to ruin such a perfect date.” Chan heaves out an exasperated sigh. Snickering at how cute Chan has been, you gave his hand a light squeeze before muttering something that had him smiling throughout the whole ride back to the restaurant that you guys were gonna get some dinner.

“I enjoyed our date, by the way, and let’s go out again next time.”
