Canadians: the ICJ hearing is very soon and I think there’s still time to send an email through this campaign to the foreign minister and other members of govt urging them to take a firmer stand with South Africa - if you haven’t already. It’s almost at its goal of 20k emails and as far as I have read, Canada is still of the stance of ‘we will respect whatever the ICJ rules’.

If anything it’s worth it to keep expressing your feelings and thoughts to the govt about their stance at every stage of this genocide:

#palestine #I’ve been more active on twt about this but in hindsight it would’ve been useful to share the various email campaigns I’m aware of here #I think especially with how historical this hearing is #and also that Canadians should really re-examine the country’s moral and social and cultural standards #I thought to share this here #I don’t understand Canadian politics in any deep way #it just leads you to think a lot on what you were led to believe growing up there #if the problems of social justice on a national level weren’t enough #the govt and Trudeaus response to this international crisis is one more thing to really be aware of
