An AU where it's not Hashirama who's Naruto's reincarnation, but Madara.
#just think about it#the idea would require scrapping out the Sasuke is a reincarnation too part#but frankly never liked it in the first place#the idea of Naruto having a darker past and overcoming it in the next life holds a lot of appeal though#and with all the parallels Naruto and Madara have...#and on the other hand it opens up a lot of new ideas for his bond with Sasuke considering Sasuke looks like Izuna#it would make sense in regards to Kurama too#like Madara tried to get his hands on Kyuubi but failed#so obviously chose a jinchuuriki of Kyuubi as his reincarnation#but Naruto having friends to support him overcomes the darkness and chooses a different path#oh and Madara waving his gunbai around in later manga makes absolutely no sense#but in earlier chapters we see him using it for WIND TECHNIQUES#it makes much more sense then why he would carry that big fan around if he was a wind user#like Sasuke has fire but also lightning Madara could theoretically have wind too in addition to Uchiha's standart fire#just imagine instead of having to talk to that creepy rip off of Bleach it's Madara that appears before Naruto -#and THAT is the darkness inside himself he has to talk to and accept and overcome#hashimada#madahashi
