Definitely was not his intention. All he wanted was to blame the desk and avoid taking accountability for his wildly shooting around which certainly didn’t help that mess.

XR squints his eyes.

“Nonsense. Dad loves us more than that Desk. We don’t bother him with paperwork.“

Then again - dad does spend an awful lot of time with that desk….more than with his own family…

Maybe he should have a serious talk with his father later.

For now …

“Oh, great. Desk on the rampage, Mira on her planet because of a Tangean tradition, Booster on his family farm and Buzz on a top secret mission. I knew I should have taken my vacation days. You think it’s too late for that now?“

Seems like he has no intention to lift a hand to help yet.

He doesn't have time to skim each sentence and point out each 'dad' is an error that should be corrected. XO plants his hands over his eyes. A robot should not feel the urge to groan, yet here he is. XR always managed to cause such bizarre psychomimetic symptoms.

Still, intentional or not, that last sentence makes him straighten up, affronted. It sounds far too close to a hint or accusation.

He folds his arms and turns away from XR in a whisk of his wheels, blinking one eye to bring up a feed over his optic: searching the security cameras nearest their location...

"And you know the commander prefers that desk over every iteration of the 'X-Ranger' series."

...said desk is practically bouncing between walls, heading north-west towards the cafeteria, according to the footage.
