thinking about.... vanya introducing himself when he finally gives a name to ricardo as "im ivan...... but friends call me vanya" (to let ricardo know that hes a Friend they are Friends now) and ricardo only ever exclusively calling him vanya..... and introducing him to the team (chen and anathema) as vanya to let him know that These are friends we are your Friends here....
