Hi 💕 thanks for thinking of me.

Well, this is a tough question, because the answer changes so much! I used to really love Color and Light, and I still love it conceptually, but for some reason my brain has now decided it’s bad? Huh. Don’t know what’s going on there.

As far as finished stories are concerned, one of my absolute faves is definitely Gaining Heart, for Spartacus (nagron). I feel such a strong attachment to it, I associate it with some great memories of my life at a time when I really felt like I was in my home. Which is funny, considering that I was actually pretty depressed and disgruntled during the process 😂 The style is strong and suits the show/material, the characters are consistent and in character, and the payoff is so cathartic. I’m so so proud of that story.

Another one is the To Be Human series for The Old Guard. Those three stories were some of my first in the fandom, and they were the character studies that launched my love for the characters. Those stories are rereads when I’m feeling low.

OH MY GOD AND THE BABY GUARD STORIES. Gentle and The Plea of Cepheus. I have never cried that hard while writing a story. So much love for my tiny little guys.

Another Hundred People is also so so very beloved. I love humans and I love New York and I love people that subvert expectations and veer on the side of kindness.

I loved the kes-verse. I still love the kes-verse, and I will never not. One day I will edit and rewrite, and I will finish the series. Not at any planned time, but ONE DAY.

These are just a little sampling of stories I love— I tried to stick to the finished ones, which are few and far between for me 😅😅😅 but I’m finally rediscovering my love for writing, and I think I’m finally getting it together (as if I haven’t said that a billion times).

Wow! I’ve been pretty down on my writing for a long while— about a year now— and it’s been hard to look back on things lately. But going through these old stories makes me feel so accomplished. Writing this all out felt really good! Thanks for asking me to play 💕

Mirror!Neelix & Mirror!Kes Thoughts: Shared theme of destruction. Leaning further into Kes' 'insect' vibes where the Ocampa are actually a locust-like species that require a near constant source of food, though any food will do (it doesn't have to be a cooked dish). The caretaker was able to satisfy that but since Kes is alone now she finds that she's hungry a good deal of the time. Ocampa have been known in the past to cannibalize one another if there isn't another source of food. Also, I can imagine Mirror!Kes playing into the fact that other species view her age as being very young and pretending to be naive or in need of help in order to get others to let their guard down. Manipulative and often irritated by others. Despite playing into the fact that others might see her as a child, she deeply resents it. Lashes out in covert ways which she can deny. Wants to unlock her telepathic abilities to gain more power. Views herself as special and above others for being able to reach the surface. Mirror!Neelix I can imagine as having a direct hand in the destruction of his home and family. Basically, he became a soldier instead of running away. Has a poor reputation with other Talaxians because of this which he resents. Is still deeply sad about the deaths of his family but tries not to think about them at all. Also unlike regular Neelix who somewhat oversells his abilities, Mirror!Neelix undersells them. Much more lethargic and outwardly jaded/bitter than regular Neelix. Intentionally poisons Voyager's crew on a monthly basis but not Janeway or Chakotay and never lethally so she doesn't kick him off. Can make amazing dishes but often intentionally ruins them. (Good food is a special treat). Obviously dislikes his lot in life and enjoys bringing others down. Finds Tuvok intriguing because he seems immune to this. ('I want to make him happy!' is mirrored as 'I want to make him sad!') Since Voyager's Mirrored goal in my mind is 'conquer' instead of 'explore' - they often see Kes & Neelix as nuisances since they don't seem to care at all about growing their influence or being feared throughout the quadrant at first. However, Kes quickly learns to like conquering and power and grows to admire both Janeway and Tuvok. Neelix doesn't much care about conquering so much as he wants to mooch off Voyager's resources and make others miserable. Eventually becomes attached to Voyager's crew but that doesn't mean he'll poison their food any less, especially if he hears them complaining. Even after this change they're still viewed as nuisances because they don't care about any command structure except for 'Appease the Captain'.

Big neat fun fact since im looking for something Margaritas voice is actually pretty androgynous that leans a tiny bit to a masculine voice. She can however easily have a more fem voice if she tries for whatever reason. Canon marg likes having more of a fem sounding voice even if it hurts her throat at times by doing it too much while ab marg has a more fem sounding voice naturally and hates it. She trained herself to have a masc sounding voice and only will have her voice fem sounding if shes surprised or scared since shes usually refraining herself from having her voice lean on the more fem side

so basically canon marg has a masc leaning androgynous voice that she easily trained herself to have a more fem voice While ab marg has a androgynous leaning fem voice that she trained herself to have a more masc leaning voice. Only time you hear her true voice is if shes startled, surprised or isnt really thinking lol

It was unbecoming for a demon of his stature to be labeled as 'clumsy' and yet, here he was. Whether it was the rickety old building or the poor care taken when dressing the stairs with carpet, of all things, or - dare he even think it - something to do with himself personally, he wasn't sure. He did have a lot on his mind this morning and he would have even more knocking around in his skull now that his impromptu trip resulted in a hand darting out for his closest object of support - Angel Dust's shoulder. Fighting back the eyeroll was nigh impossible, but he did succeed in recovering from his lapse of unprofessionalism and rendered his brief look of surprise null and void with his usual, wide smile stretching quickly across his face. "Ah, Angel!" He gives the arachnid a squeeze of his shoulder as he makes a feeble attempt to appear as though this were all part of his personalized show. After all, feigned confidence was a better tool than weak honesty. "Such a pleasure to see you up and about so bright and early! Don't tell me you've come to visit the lobby for a good morning drink, hm~?"

Descending the stairs tap - tapping away on his phone, Angel was almost much too preoccupied to give Alastor a proper greeting as he almost met his stride. He started to feel him down the hall, afterall, static a bit thicker than usual with thoughts almost as all encompassing as his own as he quickly saw to the misshaps and requests piling into his inbox. But with as many hands as he had, how could one not be a master multitasker?

Apparently, the sort to catch an Overlord. " Hey Smiles, what's gotcha - ? " was all he could get out before he realized Alastor was falling! So with reflexes quicker than a cat, Angel reached out to him with all three of his free arms, bracing his chest, shoulders, and grasping him by the waist. Moreso to protect his dignity than the threat of tumbling itself. They were demons in Hell, afterall. When one could not die, Pride ( fittingly ) was the most one had!

But with the Radio Demon in his arms... Angel took an unexpected pause. Yes, the man was small beside him. Not by too much, but small nonetheless. For being as lithe and thin as he was as well, he was also very... solid. Solid in that way that almost prompted Angel's masculine - loving soul to grip and appreciate his form more tightly ー

But just as quickly as Alastor regained his composure, Angel's hands flew back to himself, save for one that gently pat the one Alastor left upon his shoulder. As far as he was concerned, nobody saw that from either of them! A knowing chuckle, and Angel returned to his stride ( with an extra eye out towards his fellow perchance he loses coordination over his legs like a newborn fawn again! )
