I started this drawing of High Queen Margo The Destroyer more than a year ago, but yesterday I wore my “Ovary Up” hat and decided to finish it up.
What’s extra whack is at the time i was experimenting with the oil paint brush and building more realistic portraits with it, and i drew the entire face on one layer- even the entirety of the eyes and mouth, which i usually separate into their own layers so i can blend the skin without fudging them. Past Lilith was out there living on the edge.
“You have won,” the ram’s voice bleated from the shadows. “Take your prize, hero.”
Eliot picked up the golden crown of the High King of Fillory. With an inarticulate cry he threw it like a discus off into the darkness.”
The Magicians, Lev Grossman
I don't know much about this man (never watched the show lmao) but he has eyes like a sad dog and one of my fav mutuals really likes him so here's a lil sketch of Quentin Coldwater
anyway @unlifeira hope you like it and that this isn't weird asddgfjkk

How do I participate? There is no sign-up for this event; simply post your work to AO3 and add it to the ✨Where The Magic Happens collection✨ or post on Tumblr and tag us in it.
Do I have to write fic to participate? Not at all! All types of fanwork are highly encouraged. Draw a picture, make a playlist, record a podfic, manip some fun images, write some meta – all wonderful. There are no requirements for length/size, ship or lack of ship, genre, or rating, either. Just have fun with it!
Although we offer two prompts per day, you can do as many prompts as you would like. If you want to do one prompt per day, cool! If you want to do one prompt the entire week, also cool! If you want to do all the prompts, super cool! It’s completely up to you.
This event is meant to be chill. Let’s explore all the weird and wild places in this universe! The prompts are there to get the plot bunnies hopping, not make you feel like you have to write something detailed about architecture or pay a ton of attention to geography. (Let’s be real - the writers never did!) A fic that simply takes place in the setting is fine! You can focus solely on the alternative prompts, too.
Looking for more inspiration about a particular setting? Check out our resources post!
8 hours of drawing quentin and eliot from the magicians s4e5 escape from the happy place . this is a very dark shot so first i put it in lightroom and maxed out the lighting and then found a funky color palette to use. i vaguely had ideas of something pride related hence the pink lighting. because it was so dark, i didn't have a lot of fine detail to focus on so this was mostly about colors. and then i put the pan, bi and rainbow (in pastel) flags in the background.
Im excited to announce that I was given the opportunity to create a piece for @/PhilanthroBees on twitter! Thank you to everyone who supported the campaign!
...I can’t believe that I forgot to scan the drawings I did for @queliotweek aibfddibf ( ̄▽ ̄*)ゞ Better late than never I guess? And since I deleted the sideblog I used back then I thought that I might as well post them again here (but with better quality)✨
If you’re interested in the original posts and the scenarios I wrote to go along with these drawings, you'll find them here, here and here~
