The Sims 4: New Game Patch (April 29th, 2025)

There is a new game update for The Sims 4, ahead of the release of three new kits this Thursday. It also brings a few bug fixes, as previously announced on the latest Laundry List.

If you have auto updates enabled in Origin’s “Application Settings”, the game will auto-update once you open Origin. If you have auto-updates disabled, you will need to manually update by clicking the game in your library.

Customers who are Practicing Tattooing will now focus on the task at hand, rather than swapping practice partners back and forth.

Small Business Employee is no longer a valid autonomous target for the Practice Tattooing customer rule.

Employee Sim working at multiple Small Businesses will now change to the correct employee uniform when the second business is opened after closing the first.

Sims who own their own Small Business will now change into the correct uniform when working as an Employee at a Household member’s Small Business.

The “Hire an Employee” goal of the “Running a Small Business” Discovery Quest will now complete when the Employee is hired via the UI as well as via the social interaction.

Fixed an issue that caused a missing icon to appear when selling a business.

The Sims 4: New Game Patch (September 26th, 2023)

There’s a new game update for The Sims 4! This one comes in preparation for The Sims 4 Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack release on Thursday (September 28th).

As it’s been previously announced, the patch brings a new design for the “cook” menu, for easier navigation. It also allows sims to bake cupcakes in any oven (#FreeTheCupcakes).Advertisement
