Mmmm some Colress shipping headcanons bc I ship him with. Legit everyone

Colress x Ghetsis: their relationship actually started out fairly well! Colress was able to get to know Ghetsis really well, and Ghetsis even revealed his softer side to Colress. With that being said, as Neo team plasma continued on, Ghetsis grew more distant and so did Colress. They began to have arguments more frequently and disagreed often on how to run the team. It ended on a sour note when Colress suddenly left for unova after Ghetsis’s plan failed yet again. They could probably hit it off again sometime in the future, if Colress weren’t so petty over the relationship in general.

If they did continue their relationship though, it wouldn’t last very long at all, as Colress just starts to realize he hated everything about Ghetsis in general. Especially the dudes personality and attitude.

Colress x Cyrus: probably met in group therapy for unethical scientists. Both definitely need said therapy.

I see a lot of people as portraying their relationship as Cyrus being his usual depressed self and Colress being over the top warm and kind and... I dig it honestly. Like a relationship between them could go rly rly well! Only issue is that they’d prolly have small arguments over xyz scientific bs that nobody else can help them with because nobody else has any idea what they’re going on about. They’d play DnD together and talk about their feelings. Eventually.

Colress x Grimsley: Rich powercouple. Grimsley is definitely the type to take Colress out on a lot of dates to nice restaurants, showing him to all of Alolas beautiful locations. Downside is that Grimsley is very over the top with what he does for Colress, while Colress would be fine with their dates either way. They definitely have Pokémon battles for fun, but Grimsley often falls short and looses to Colress often. Colress pokes fun at Grimsley for it, though.

Colress, on the other hand, would invite Grimsley to see a whole bunch of domestic - but boring - shit. If aether foundation is hosting a dinner? Grimsley is being dragged along. When Colress goes out to talk to the Alolan locals? You bet he brings Grimsley with him. They have an interesting relationship dynamic that confuses almost everyone else.

Colress x Faba: OH BOY this one is interesting.

Colress, for the most part in their relationship, is warm and welcoming minus his few petty moments, where Faba is petty all the damn time with a few warm and welcoming moments. They compliment each other for sure, but Faba is more reluctant about the relationship than Colress. He’s a bit embarrassed about dating him and doesn’t want it to be made into a big deal - where Colress loves to show off their love everywhere and talks about Faba all the time. This dynamic eventually gets old to everyone who works at the Aether foundation who has to hear their bullshit.

The main disagreements would come from Colress wanting to adopt a kid, or a Pokémon, or the way each other conduct their research. Colress would likely push Faba out of his comfort zone consistently to try and get him to do any actual work at the foundation. Faba on the other hand, would try and have Colress relax and have other people do his work for him. Together they make a dangerous couple who definitely shouldn’t be in charge of any children or legendary Pokémon, because god knows how they’d try and raise it.

Colress x N: uh nah. Not actually a thing at all imo - if anything, Colress would learn about N after getting out of team plasma, and would really just be more interested in his childhood and abilities with pokemon. N would definitely hate Colress at first, but grow to be okay with him. Colress, with the help of N, would later stop being a major asshole and be kinder to Pokémon in general.

Colress x Protags: fuck no! That’s pedophilia. In a friendship relationship, though, Colress would always watch the battles that the protagonist took part in, taking notes of how their Pokémon behaved or the general mood of their Pokémon. Colress would really only use the protagonists for help with research, and in return, give them insight about the aether foundation, legendary Pokémon, or what was team plasma.
