trying to piecemeal individual plane tickets to japan so that i don’t have to shell out 1.5k for a round-trip flight:
#liveblogging life#the only flights from my home city are 1.5k+ with two layovers :((((#the downsides of living in the midwest lol#so i spent a good hour just going like okay whats the cheapest city i can fly to from. my city that also has cheap flights to tokyo#unsurprisingly all through lax#except it is weirdly cheap to fly to las vegas???#like it's still three layovers or w/e tho and i hate htat#but the timing just doesnt work out easily bc i obvs need more than 45m between flights to make sure i make them#esp since lax flights have almost always been late for me#[deep sigh]#i could give in and just use the air canada flight but im stubborn about spending money on airplane tickets lol#if there's ONE skill i got from living overseas it's saving as much money as possible on flights#the bummer is all my ticket money went to the vet but if i dont buy soon theyre just going to get more and more expensive#so i feel like i have to buy it this week when i get paid :((((
