This year's Pinkquisition Rallies exchange will be a Secret Santa. The theme is open. For this exchange, any gift types are allowed! From personalized playlists to physical gifts, the sky is the limit. Be sure to specify what exactly you want, or offer a variety of gift types you're willing to accept, as not everyone can meet those specific gift requests. When receiving an assignment, please stick to the gift type requested! The Pinkquisition Rallies is a seasonal gift exchange ran by @drunken-drengr​ and @inquisitorfatima where writers and artists alike can express their creativity and celebrate the seasons of Thedas! Anticipating a trick, and craving a treat? Wishing upon a star for a Secret Santa? Or how about abundant spring blessings and sunny beach activities? We have it all for every time of the year! Maybe even just one big event to wrap everything up nicely.

This is a Dragon Age centered gift exchange, accepting many kinds of writing, art, and media as gifts. All works submitted in the exchange must be SFW, as this is a 15 years or older limited gift exchange. All works submitted also must abide by the gift recipient’s request and DNW’s, and all pairings or groups must be centered around the season of the exchange. It is required that one signs up with the intent of completing their assignment on time (yes, asking for extra time is allowed), given that the assignment is a completed one. For fics, at least 1000 words, and for art, at least a full clean colored line art piece. Other gift variations will be specified when they are available for certain events.

Signing Up

When you sign up, you will be able to request up to three pairings of your choice, and offer up to three pairings, also of your choice. When requesting pairings, make sure they are appropriately themed for the current event (Pairings should be themed around Fall/Halloween in one way or another). Also be sure to be specific with what you want done, whether it be fic or art. List all Do Not Wants, to properly ensure you get what you want. Anything not written down in your request is free game for the person who receives your request, you have been warned. When making offers, it doesn't have to be anything specific. You can make any offer, literally any, as in you're fine with anything. Please also include any DNWs if your offer, to ensure you won't be assigned something you aren't comfortable with. And once again, this is a SFW exchange. Nothing explicitly NSFW is allowed, such as lemons or dirty smut.

Don't Want To Sign Up, Or Don't Have Much Time?

If you don't want to sign up, but still would like to contribute in some way shape or form, you can create a Gift, or a Treat. A Treat is an extra little something for those participating in the exchange, and do not have any requirements as to how much needs to be completed. When making a Treat for someone, you may choose any pairing that has been requested. We encourage that everyone makes a Treat for someone, in case of the event that someone doesn't manage to finish their assignment on time. Treats are so people don't go without a gift, and we'd like it if everyone got a Treat.

A Treatless List will be made after all participants are assigned a pairing.

Reminder/Treat Update

Hello all participants! Here is a reminder for the due date of your assignments. The due date of your assignments has been moved to October 20th, and the reveal will be on the 23rd. If you think you are unable to finish your assignment, or need extra time, please contact @best-of-the-vein as soon as possible.

As for Treats, we now have a Treatless List. Treats don’t have to follow the exact prompt, and do not have a minimum requirement for how finished they are, though it is encouraged to follow them. It is also encouraged that everyone participating makes a Treat for someone, but not required. Anyone can make a Treat for someone, and Treats can be submitted after the exchange is over. If you want to give someone a Treat, dm @best-of-the-vein.

Guidelines for the Exchange

The Pinkquisition Rallies is meant to be a fun event for everyone who chooses to participate. With that being said, there are are rules set in place to ensure that it stays that way. Conflict is bound to happen amongst people, but these rules are set in place in hopes of avoiding that and/or solving it.

Upon being recruited into the Pinkquisition, you agree to the following rules:

1. Within the duration of the exchange, all participants must remain respectful with one another. If a conflict cannot be solved amongst yourselves, higher ranking personnel will intervene. Punishments for infringements can vary from warnings to removal of the exchange.

2. Respecting one another means no discrimination of any shape or form will be tolerated. If you have a problem with someone or something, resolve it in the mature way. Punishments for infringements can vary from warnings to removal of the exchange.

3. And along with respect comes respecting other's wishes. All participants must provide a list of Do Not Want's in their exchange request, and all participants must honor other's list of DNW's. If a gift violates the recipient's list of DNW's, the author of said gift will be removed from the exchange.

4. Likewise, if a gift does not feature what the recipient requested, the author of said gift will be removed from the exchange and future exchanges.

5. Always give your best effort! These are gifts, that you signed up to create. All submitted gifts must be completed. Fics must be 1,000+ words long, all art must have at LEAST clean, finished line art. Other gift variation's requirements vary. If the requirements are not met, those who violate will be removed from future exchanges. If you cannot deliver a completed work in the given time, contact a moderator, and we can try our best to work something out. Please, contact us ASAP if you cannot fulfill your assignment, or need extra time.

6. To avoid any unnecessary drama, we ask that all characters stick to their canon. Skin colors, sexual orientations, and identities all apply. Punishments for infringements can vary from warnings to removal of the exchange.

7. This is a SFW Exchange, given that we accept all participants 15 years or older. Light smut is accepted, but nothing explicitly NSFW is accepted. If this rule is broken, punishment will result in the ban from participating in any future exchanges.

8. Requested works can feature just about anything, as long as it pertains to the listed rules. Any and all OCs are completely welcome.

9. All authors will remain anonymous until they are revealed. Until then, refrain from posting your gift to your account, or revealing that you made it. Violating this rule will result in warnings that can lead up to a ban.

10. The Moderation team holds the right to the final say in conflicts and the punishments for anyone who violates any of the rules above.

11. If a theme for an exchange is specified, all works in the collection must fit the theme in some way shape or form.

Hey does Pinkquisition require you to write the exact prompt given or do you just have to match the pairing and avoid the DNWs? I want to participate but I'm concerned about getting assigned a prompt I'm just not feeling (even if I like the pairing).

Getting everyone what they requested is certainly what we would want, but I understand not wanting to do the exact prompt, especially if it’s a specific and detailed one. I’d say try to make it work as best you can, but if you really arent jamming with it, there’s wiggle room for artistic freedom. Either that or you can request to be paired up with someone else.

The three day mark is here! Sign ups are almost closed, and with that, assignments will soon be given out! If you want to sign up, now is your chance. More people are really needed, and if you can't join do share. Or, create a Treat for those participating.

Assignments Have Been Given

Now that the Sign Up period for the exchange has ended, assignments have been, well, assigned! There has been some technical difficulties though, and the matching system is not working. Participants will receive their assignments via DM or email from the exchange moderators. Thus, because of this inconvenience, extra time to complete assignments will be given. Participants have until the 13th of October to complete work for their assignments.

If participants cannot complete their work on time, contact a exchange moderator via Tumblr, Discord, or AO3. Please let us know ahead of time if you know for certain you cannot finish your assignment so extra time can be given or back ups can be made!

Treats are also being accepted. It is encouraged that everyone makes at least 1 Treat for those without a Treat, as a sort of extra/back up gift. We want to make sure that everyone gets at least one gift! Treatless List Treats can be submitted to the collection like normal, before or after the due dates for assignments. There is no limit on how many Treats you can do. The basic requirements for Gifts are encouraged for Treats, but do not have to be met. The Treatless List will be updated once treats are submitted. If everyone receives a Treat, then the list will open up again.
