Inconvenienced - Chapter 3

(all previous parts of "Of Convenience" and "In Convenience")

Adar x Celebrimbor (silverscars) political marriage to marriage of love AU, 5 times Adar and Celebrimbor try to spend some 'private' time together and get interrupted, and one time they finally manage, chapter 3. The forge has been rebuilt, and both Celebrimbor and his assistants spend their first day back in the smithy together. With many reminders of Annatar gone, and the elf having a piece he wants to complete, the day is a resounding success. Much later, after the others have left, Celebrimbor presents the piece to Adar in a sweet moment between the two, until…

Note: There is some kissing, but most of the interactions between the two are just very fluffy and a little sappy conversations and some gentle touches.

I love this little chapter - getting to bring back the characters that appear, the way Celebrimbor and Adar interact, the various callbacks and hints to the rest of the 'verse...it's very lovely. I hope you wonderful people enjoy it as much as I do! <3

#these two did not expect others would also go and 'forge alliances' like they did it seems oops #lots of callbacks/hints to other parts of this 'verse in this part #the rebuilding of the forge in the background during In Convenience during the first few chapters #there is also a callback to Celebrimbor's forging-related trauma (though very mild) so him getting to work in the tower is *huge*#the aquamarine eyes were from Of Convenience and I *knew* I wanted to bring that back in regards to smithing at some point too #as to what the three girls were up to so late? No clue! XD Maybe they wanted to get sloshed or to show Gurlak the place?
