I usually don't like just being a hater about things for the hell of it, but I really did not enjoy pokemon b&w at all, and it baffles me that it keeps coming up as people's fave
#the region is allegedly supposed to be like notheast us but I see zero resemblance besides the concept of there being a city#the battle animations are a sin against pixel art. you cant just rotate and squish sprites like that it looks like shit#and aside from a few tracks most of the ost sounds like penis music#also the postgane felt lackluster but the series doesn't stick the landing on that very often anyway#I also can't stand the UI design#the pokemon designs were overall fine though iirc#and the bw protag designs were good#but you can point to basically any other part of that game and I'll probably tell you it's the worst out of the games I've played
