of course it could simply be that he's a straight author raised in a misogynistic amatonormative culture that places higher emphasis on the importance of the male pov who simply didn't consider how giving the relationship between his two male protagonists more depth and relevance to the plot than to the actual romantic relationship between the main character and his love interest could be misconstructed and interpreted. i mean. that's very much a possibility. wouldn't be the first time unfortunately lol
#hey i got an ask#anonymous#the thing about tged is that it is very much just a basic isekai that just so happened to give his protagonists and other characters#more depth than is the norm in the genre. but it's still very much just a normal isekai.#it's not seeking to defy or subvert tropes or shake the genre itself. so while it tests outs the boundaries a couple times#it still very much fall into step with what is common in other stories#now had bk moon had a little queer whispering gay little thoughts into his ears this could have been a completely different story#but as it is tged will just remain a 'better than average' isekai :]
