One of my favorites (at least for my cluster of children) is that if they do have their own room/house, it’s a reflection of what kind of person they were outside the game (to make them more comfy/make it feel more ‘homely’ to them)

Calcifer’s is very barren, with few things touched and windows - especially in his bedroom - let very little light in. Even though he’s lived in it for years, the only indication of life in his bedroom is the unkempt sheets and a couple crystal shards on the ground

If Tai were to have one it would blend it a lot with the whole vibe of the Railroads pretty well. Maybe he’d have the luxury of a ripped, faded poster or two. But it is a very run down looking place that he really just sleeps in and nothing more.

Vixen’s would deviate from this rule a bit because she is supposed to be a caricature, not a player, so C&A would probably specialty model her place of residence to match the kind of ‘Star life’ she supposedly has

Fixer also has an apartment/place of residence because it’s generated for every player.

He doesn’t use it.

It’s literally an empty apartment with no furniture or anything, just dust.

Caclifer - Calci's a very simple man: you give him a gift, he's going to be surprised and appreciative no matter what. Normally he's more of a gift-giver than a gift receiver, so any gift he does get will make him appreciate the person more (That being said please don't send him more chocolates, my boy is already partially running a sweet shop bc of Comsia and the boys/lh silly)

Vixen - Anything flashy and fashionable. New makeup? Absolutely. New Dress? Without a doubt. Hell- She'll even adore stationary like fountain or glitter pens or even something small but nice like a bottle of wine with a pretty label. The more gold or glitter it has, the better. (Vivian is kinda the same but less so :3 she'll happily take stationary of any kind or just a new dress. She doesn't care nearly as much about the flashiness of it all like she does for Vixen)

Fixer - Praise. Admittance of love/devotion. He's a very simple man. If anything he'll make the effort to give you a gift if he believes you're worth something to him, all he asks is your unwavering loyalty and affection in return.

Wyn - New Music! Or Dolls! Or just the company! She's very easy to make happy, especially with little homely craft gifts :D

Rosarya - Imma be honest man I am very much blanking on her because she's such a selfless giving person. when she says 'oh you shouldn't have' when receiving a gift, she genuinely means it because she will find a way to give you a gift back 10 fold now

Tai - Gun. Or any weapon....or any memories of home. As much as he remembers wanting to leave that damn city, he can't remember much about his siblings....even their faces are nothing more than a blur to him....maybe they'll be lucky and find a busted computer that he can take back for memories sake? or a baseball bat would be nice. Definately don't bedazzle it though. Just a regular one will suffice. He knows that finding anything like that in a place like this will be hard, so he will take whatever bittersweet memories he can get, even if they are a bit busted and broken.

I don't know why, but my brain just decided to imagine Husam and Crystalline Fractures in the John Mulaney skit about the "One Thing You Can Never Replace"...

It would be Husam talking about going to a party Vixen is throwing, with everyone going to wreck the place because they don't like Fixer. And Acid would be the one that takes "the one thing you can never replace".

I dunno, just wanted to share the idea, since it's so silly. Tagging you, @thatonegayspacerock, because this mostly involves your characters.

Slightly edited script of the skit under the keep reading for those that don't know it.

Another story I heard about myself, this one happened in high school. We had this teacher in high school whose kid went to our high school. His name was Fixer and his niece Vivian went to our high school. She was a sophomore, when I was a senior. So she was two years behind me. And Fixer was an asshole and one weekend he and his wife decided to leave town, which you should never do, if you're an asshole. And Vivian decided to throw a party at the teacher's house. Hooray! And everyone around town heard about it and we all got up individually and thought, "Okay, let's go over there and destroy the place." I walked into this party. Everyone I had ever met was there and everyone was drinking like it was the end of the world. People were drinking like it was the Civil War and a doctor was coming to saw our legs off. It was totally unsupervised. We were like dogs without horses, we were running wild. I walked down, I walked down to the basement. They had a pool table in the basement. One dude took a running start and threw his body onto the pool table and broke it in half. Another kid found out which room was Fixer's and went upstairs and took a shit on his computer. So the party was going great.

I'm standing in the basement, and I'm holding a red cup; you've seen movies. And I'm standing there and I'm holding a red cup and I'm starting to black out and I guess someone said like "Something, something police" and in a brilliant moment of word association, I yelled: "Fuck da police! Fuck da police!" And everyone else joined in. A hundred drunk children yelling “Fuck da police”. With the confidence of guys who have already been to jail and aren't afraid of it anymore, you know that like, "I'll serve my nickel, you come and take me!" confidence. But children. The reason someone had said something, something police was because the police were there. So a London police officer walked down the stairs and got to the bottom in the basement and looked out over a sea of drunk toddlers yelling; "Fuck the police!" in his face, but he was almost impressed.

He was like "Wow," and then he leaned into his walkie-talkie and went "Get the paddy-wagon." And this guy Calcifer, he grabbed a 40, smashed it on the ground, and yelled "Scatter!" And everyone ran into different directions. We all ran in different directions. It was like that scene in Ratatouille when the humans come in the kitchen and all the rats go in different ways. We all ran in different directions. I ran into the laundry room and I jumped up on the washing machine and I crawled out through a window into the backyard and now I'm running through the backyard and there was this big chain link fence and I thought "I've never climbed a fence that high before." And then I woke up at home.

On Monday, I went to school because that's what we did back then. And I'm walking into the school building and who do I see but Vivian. And she says to me, "Hey, were you at my party on Saturday?" And I said "No," you know, like a liar. And she said "Things got really outta hand. Someone broke the pool table. Someone took a shit on my uncle’s computer. But the worst thing," she says; "the worst thing is that someone stole these old antique photos of my grandmother and my parents are freaking out about it."

And I had that thought that only blackout drunks and Steve Urkel can have, "Did I do that?" I figured no. I wouldn't have done that. But I was never sure, until two years later, relax. I'm playing video games with this kid named Acid that we also went to high school with. Two years later, we've graduated by now. We're playing video games for a couple hours, and then Acid says to me, "Hey, come here I want to show you something," and he takes me into his bedroom and then he takes me into a side room off of his bedroom. Never a good thing to have. He shows me a tiny room that is covered wall to wall in stolen antique photos from different people's parties over the years. And I said "Why? Why do you do this?" And Acid said, "Because it's the one thing you can't replace." That's the end of that story, but how fucked up is that, right? That's crazy.

Had the weirdest fever dream where I made a background assistant character (like he was a hotel butler or something??? Complete average joe looking guy with the exception of him wearing a suit) and y’all just absolutely fell in love with him so I gave him some bullshit playing cards power where each room key was a certain black-variant playing card and if he wanted to make his guests part of his own cohort and/or pretty much just turn them into his own followers he’d have some sort of power to turn the card symbol on the room key red

It unintentionally became a semi-big event where one of the characters was put into a sorta comatose state because of the cards and everyone was losing their minds when they found out the butler was the one causing it and y’all would need to defeat him
