I have a genuine question, or perhaps a bit of a hypothetical for you, cause you say you support the police system. I'm not here to fight, and I understand if you don't want to listen, but I have to try.

You claim there are good cops and bad cops, just like there are good and bad people. That's a fair thing to claim, because after all cops are people, just at their jobs. However, cops have to fulfil their duty to laws and expectations, some of which are inherently bad and support systemic oppression and inequality.

When a cop comes across a situation, they have a choice to make: either apply those unjust actions that are expected of them, or make the judgement call themselves. This should not be on them to decide—they are executioner of laws, not the lawmakers or judges. This is the fundamental idea of the trias politica, the separation of powers. Either way, the cop does a "bad" thing, in the eyes of people. There is no way to win this.

As you say there exist good cops and bad cops, what are your thoughts on this?
