I've been looking at your doodles and idk why it just clicked but Lambert's perception of Narinder in their dreams?? It looks like it hurts them to view a person who they feel hates them now look at them with care and a word they don't think they might deserve. Is Narinder going to find out about Lambert's dreams as well?
I haven't solidified it in stone yet because I was kinda just playing around with the idea of Dream Narinder since: Dream Lamb is a sort of 'subconsious' that knows what Narinder knows and ONLY what Narinder knows, even though he denies it. So they know nothing of how Lambert feels, Dream Lamb brings forth the reality of Narinder's feelings that he can do his best to ignore and deny, but utimatley is haunted by them
So by that, Dream Narinder is the same subconsious to the lamb, but like the other, he Only Knows What The Lamb Knows still in their own minds, so Dream Narinder behaves in a way that the lamb truley believes: That Narinder will see them nothing more than a tool and maybe an important vessal at best, and even when he's his kindest to them in their dreams, it's just the 'proffesionalism' or friendliness he gave during his time in the afterlife while they were activley on the main story's mission.
So yeah, it does hurt them. Lambert at best hopes that they can go back to how they used to talk and play and behave in the gateway before the big betrayal even if they care for more, because they'll accept that as all they deserve.
If I write it into TROD idk if I'll want to do dream scenes for lamb the same way Narinder is going to have them or if it's only discovered after a big reveal/heart-to-heart but it's something I'm thinkin about
