Ruki gazed at Yuriko in surprise. "You went shopping? What did you buy?" he asked a bit puzzled.

After seeing what Yuriko had bought, he stared at her in confusion, but listened to her first before commenting on her purchases. "But this money was meant for you. Very soon you will need new clothes because our little one will make it impossible for you to wear your old clothes," he sighed. "You are a handful."

The vampire took his time and looked at the new clothes. "I have already provided everything I need to survive. There is not a single reason for me to buy new clothes."

Not understanding why his wife had gotten new clothes for him, Ruki picked up the blue blazer and looked at it more closely. "Everything is blue," he stated. "Just like your clothes..." Then he glanced at Yuriko. "Could it be that you wanted 'matching' clothes for us?" Slowly, he tried on the blazer. "Does something like that make you happy?"

Yuriko's choice suited Ruki perfectly. "However, I suppose it is fine." Wearing the blazer, the vampire pulled the kitsune into a hug. "Thank you, my angel." He peeked at her with a serious expression. "But now please do not spend any more money on me. We have to save it..."

Lovingly, Ruki kissed Yuriko. The fact that she was buying clothes for him made him very happy. He was also very pleased with her choice. It was exactly to his liking. Sticking to his rule of saving money, he would never admit how happy he was about what his wife had just done. But secretly, Yuriko probably knew that he was happy. By now, she too could read him like an open book...
